Monasterboice Monastic Site
After meeting and greeting our pleasant tour guide for the trip, we jump into luxury Mercedes motor vehicle and navigate the Dublin streets and head for the tunnel that will steer us in a direction North. Before you know it, you will be on the open road ready for the first stop of our journey. In the middle of the County Louth countryside lies an early Christian settlement founded by St Buithe at which we will make a brief stop. Today there are still many ruins here, including some beautiful Celtic Crosses and a magnificent round tower. This peaceful site is surrounded by wonderful countryside which will make you wonder why the monks chose this place to settle down.
Titanic Belfast
In no time we arrive at the capital city of Northern Ireland. Before checking out the city centre we must make our way to the docklands of Belfast to take in all the ‘Titanic Experience’ has to offer. This self-guided experience brings to you the story of the Titanic, from her birth in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her building and launch, to its maiden voyage in 1912. Step back in time in this award-winning 5-star attraction.
Belfast
After a full day of exiting events below and above the border we shall now be brought to our overnight accommodation which will be very centrally located allowing you to walk the streets and have a bite to eat and a well-deserved delicious creamy pint of Belfast Ale in the famous Crown bar only around the corner.
The Dark Hedges
Two hundred years ago Mr. Stuart of Gracehill House planted one hundred and fifty beech trees to make an impressive entrance to his home. Known as Bregagh Road by locals it is notoriously known as the Dark Hedges by the rest of the world made famous by the TV series “Game of Thrones”.
Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge
More than two hundred and fifty years ago the fishermen built a bridge stretching from mainland Ireland to an island called Carrick-a-rede to catch their Atlantic Salmon. Today it is an exhilarating visitor attraction bringing people from all over the world to cross the rope bridge – not for the faint of heart! After let us make our way into Ballintoy village for a quick refreshment stop, and Whitepark Bay on our way to the main attraction of the day.
Our premium tour now brings us to the jewel and crown of our tour the Giant’s Causeway with ample time to really experience this 8th natural wonder of the world alongside Mount Everest and the Grand Canyon where legend meets science. Some say the Causeway consists of over 40,000 hexagonal columns formed through the rapid cooling of lava from an underwater volcano thousands of years ago or others devote the legend of the Giant’s Causeway under the claims that the Irish giant Finn McCumhaill constructed the causeway himself – You will have to make your own mind up for yourself as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Included on your visit is the ‘Giants Causeway Visitor Centre displaying the history of the site, an audio guide to bring with you as you climb over the columns, a café and unique shopping facility which would enable you to buy many locally made gifts.
Dunluce Castle
We get back in our chauffeur driven vehicle and journey West for a short while for a well worthwhile photo stop. Dunluce is one of the most attractive and romantic of Irish Castles. For all the avid 'Game of Thrones' fans this will be a little unexpected treat

We booked the 2 day Giants Causeway and 2 day Cliffs of Moher tours and they were both amazing. We had John as our guide for both tours and he was wonderful. Very incitful, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We covered a lot of ground and John showed us some unbelievable sites. So thankful he was driving as some of those roads were not very wide! We truly enjoyed our tours and our time with John. First class service. I highly recommend Liberty Irish Tours.

SUCH a great experience!!! So good that we booked a second one during our family vacation week in Ireland! We did a three day private western Ireland and two day Northern Ireland trip with James. So many great things to say about this experience, from the easy booking through the most amazing family time with James. By the end of our many days together, James was like part of the family! He was always punctual, professional, and courteous. His level of knowledge of and passion for Ireland was amazing. There wasn’t a single question he didn’t answer in depth! He is a fantastic and safe driver. We had a very comfortable Mercedes vehicle for our party of five. On top of all of that, we truly had the best time with James. He is funny, kind, a great listener, did such a great job of learning our family and what we would like and making changes on the fly as he saw fit. He made everything so easy and stress free. It was great to just show up and know things would go great, and they did! We are so grateful to James for making our family trip even better than we could have imagined. Vacations and family time are precious and you made it amazing for us!!!
