• Good experience but the tour could be improved

  - Pick up: very bad, the driver doesn’t speak English , very aggressive talking to us, confusing us , almost loose the bus and the driving very dangerous, with the phone while driving … - Crossing the border: very well organize , easy , nothing to improve - The guide: he knows well about the history of the places but he wasn’t so correct responding our questions. But in general not bad. - Áqaba: a waste of time to visit the port, where we did nothing but standing on the hit. The options proposed there, not interesting at all… not happy about this Áqaba stop. - Wadi Rum: excellent! Amazing experience with the cars and the camp. - First day in Petra: the excursion should start earlier, it’s August, the hit was horrible and could be sorted leaving the camp at 6;:30/7:00 instead of 9:15 in the morning… The restaurant, SandStone was not nice and they took advantage of the drinks. No dessert included. Not happy about it. - Second Day in Petra: Again we should have started earlier, not at almost 9 again, with the hit… - Back to Israel: again the driver didn’t speak any English and his drive was terrible! Everyone awake, we couldn’t sleep because of the way he was speeding, overtaking cars in continued lines, taking the corners in such a speed that we had to tell him in a few times to slow down … the worst worst experience in a bus ever, we almost had an accident. - Comunication with the travel agency: lack of assistance regarding the info about the money to pay the border. For example , we lost an afternoon looking for dollars to pay the visa and border taxes when it was posible to be payed by card, easy!

  Generally a good experience. I recommend the 2-day trip over the 1-day trip, because you really won't have enough time to see everything with the 1-day. The first day was guided and the second day was self-guided. I appreciated both days — Kareem was an excellent tour guide, and I also liked having the second day to walk around and explore on my own. They put us up in a nice hotel with decent food and service, so no complaints there. There was a bit of a problem with the bus on the way back. The AC broke on the bus from Petra to the border crossing, which made for a hot, uncomfortable ride. Also, after departing from the border crossing and setting out for Jerusalem, they drove about an hour before stopping for a bathroom break, which wasn't wonderful. But I guess this is the sort of thing that happens when you travel. No trip is 100% perfect or trouble-free.

  The bad: The bus drivers in Israel were insane. The one on the way back drove erratically, didn't tell us how long of a break we had at the rest stop (it was just when he was done eating and then blew on the horn to call everyone back to the bus) and didn't make the second required stop (they're supposed to stop every 1.5 hours). The tour guide was told by the company to try to sell us on a bunch of extra activities, which they clearly were just getting a cut of. It wasted a lot of time for all of us to eventually say that we weren't interested in a boat ride. The tour guide gave us a good tour leading up to the Treasury, but then left us to navigate the rest on our own. I thought it would be a full day tour of all of the other many sites in Petra. The good: Nice accomodations and food at the camp. The tour guide was knowledgeable. Nice to do the ride in the jeeps. Enjoyed swimming in the red sea, which was an extra activity. The bus driver in Jordan was very good. The people who guided you across the border were helpful.

  actually, it should be 4.9. Over all it was excellent but there were a few things that bothered us. It wasn't clear that the morning in Aqaba would cost extra. We thought it would be "regular" sightseeing. The private beach was very nice though. It also wasn't clear to all to bring a bathing suit. The other things that detracted were lack of USB on the bus in Jordan and that the electric outlets at the camp were unusable. The pattern of the socket was neither Israeli style nor US or European style. Also having to pay for drinks just didn't feel right. On the plus side, the guide was superb. The organization was to a tee. And the bus drivers were excellent.

  Well organized tours. Had fun staying in desert camp. Dinner / breakfast and lunch was provided. Jeep safari was lots of fun

  The Jordanian guide was great as was the Jordanian bus driver. On the Israeli side communication was non existent we had no idea where we were or what we were doing and relied on one of the passengers to translate for us at the border. We spent hours driving to drop other people off at their overnight camp so that our day in Petra was reduced to four hours. With a little thought and a whole heap of better communication this could work but this company is dreadful. The driver was half an hour late. We were left at the Israeli border on the way home for 45 minutes with no communication. We were nearly separated as a group by the bus driver between two buses. It was farcical. Go on the trip just don’t go with these guys. Drive to Eilat and get a trip to Petra that doesn’t involve money saving scams

  The communication prior to boarding the bus in Jerusalem was good. Once we boarded the bus, the communication was very poor. The bus broke down at one of the rest stops in Israel. The passengers were not notified on why we were just sitting there. This caused us to be very late to Petra. Once at Petra, our guide lost an entrance ticket and questioned everyone numerous times to see if we had the lost ticket. This caused another delay in seeing Petra. The guide sent us on our own to explore Petra! We paid for a guided tour but did not receive any explanation of what we were seeing. My friends and I were uncomfortable with how we were transferred to our hotel for the night (luggage thrown in the back of a pick-up truck while we took two separate taxis. The hotel was fine, and the breakfast buffet was fine. The bus ride back to Jerusalem was delayed while we waited for another group of people to get to the bus. The bus driver in Israel (the same guy both ways) was adequate but drove extremely slow. (So slow at times that other tour busses and a loaded heavy equipment flatbed truck passed us!)

  we had to be a maximum of 25 people we were 60! In petra we could not see anything! don't trust them they are scammers

  Every aspect of the trip went smoothly. The guides adjusted to weather conditions during the trip and we managed to maximize our time in Jordan accordingly and have a great time.
