Then, head out for a game drive in the sanctuary to search for lions and other wildlife until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavels sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind.
