1rt DAY: (L, D) We start at approximately 10:00 a.m. hours and visit the train cemetery before heading to the Great Salt Lake. Along the way we'll meet the people of Colchani, where we will see an artisan salt processing plant.
Train Cemetery
We will visit the "Train Cemetery" open field museum, of old trains dating from the previous century, which over time were worn out, and due to its particularity it is famous for taking photographs, the guide will explain all the history .
Salar de Uyuni
We will visit the wonderful "salar de Uyuni" the largest salt reserve in the world, an immense desert of salt, where you can take pictures in perspective, with the help of your professional guide, you can enjoy the desert of salt at its best. You will be able to enjoy a private picnic lunch in the middle of the Uyuni salt flat, you will taste delicious local food with impressive views towards the volcanoes.
Isla Incahuasi
Then we'll enter Salar de Uyuni and head to Incahuasi Island (known as Fish Island) where you can observe the famous giant cacti.
Tahua
Next we'll encounter the town of Coqueza located at the foot of Tunupa Volcano the banks of the Salar. We'll spend the night at a salt hotel with private rooms. We may have time to head to the banks of the salt flat to witness a breathtaking sunset. After dinner enjoy an evening walk near the hotel to stargaze.night tour. Overnight at SALT HOTEL , 3 Stars.
TAHUA - SALAR DE UYUNI - UYUNI

2nd DAY: Watch the sunrise from near the Hotel followed by an optional breakfast in salar or at the hotel.
Tunupa Volcano
Then we'll continue our trip to Chantani's art museum, followed by a visit to Coquesa. Here we'll climb to the top of Tunupa Volcano for panoramic views of the salt falts. Next we'll visit the cave of mummies before a slow descent to the base of the volcano. When we are at the foot of the Volcano, we will be able to appreciate vicuñas, llamas and flamingos, native animals of the region that are part of our visit.
Salar de Uyuni
Then we'll begin our drive back to Uyuni, enjoying lunch along the way as well as a dazzling sunset. We'll toast to the beauty of the region before arriving in Uyuni.
After enjoying these natural wonders of the largest salt desert in the world, we return to Uyuni, private mobility can leave you at your hotel or at the place of your choice. Arrival in Uyuni at approximately 5:00 pm

1.00Well, I took a 3 day tour with The Ostrich Travel- Salt Flats. Jorge (the big liar) is the guy who sold the pass. There were 6 people including me for the tour. Well, The driver was Oscar. He was pretty rude from the very beginning with me. I wasn't given food properly. I told Jorge that I don't eat meat. But what I saw for the lunch was meat. I told him that I eat fish. There was nothing. Except llama-meat. There's another girl who works with Jorge at the office. They are not professionals at all. Oscar was so high with the coca leaves that the 2nd morning before leaving for the tour, he was screaming at me as I wZ 2 minutes late. He didn't let me have food. According to him, I was late and also the other two adults who were in the group- Oscar treated them with a rude attitude. Later on, he made us wait outside as he was busy doing something. Then he pretended to be fine as we were heading to our destination during the ride through the desert. He said we would reach by 20 minutes but he was riding through the desert for 2 hours and he started driving on the cactus and the rocks which wasn't a road. We didn't arrive anywhere until 12pm. Then suddenly the car just got out of the path as he fell asleep while driving. 3 of us had plans to cross the boundary and reach Chile but on the 3rd day. But Oscar drove us to the frontier on the 2nd day as he was high on those coca leaves and didn't find the way. So, we decided to cross the border on that very day. And after coming back, I asked for the money. The other 2 friends got their money from their agency. Although they returned a day price. My travel agency - THE OSTRICH TRAVEL made me wait for 10 days and asked me to have patience. Then suddenly I see that they send me some totally disgraceful stupid messages and blocks me. The girl has a different phone number. The guy JORGE is another one. They are nothing but a group of scammers. They don't value their own words. Doesn't care about their passengers not at all. Please don't buy any passes from them. I had the worst experience with them.

5.00The tour was simply perfect. Demetrio is the best: he took care of us in every detail, sharing knowledge about the Salar and Bolivian culture and adjusting the tour to our needs/wishes. He’s very nice, punctual and a real expert of the Salar. We’ll never forget the magic of having lunch and apertivi at sunset in the middle of the Salar, as well as the emotion of getting lost in the Milky Way. The 2 days we spent in this magic place with Demetrio are unforgettable and made us fall in love with Bolivia. 🇮🇹🇧🇴

5.00We had an excellent trip exploring the salt flats of Uyuni with Joker tours. Our guide Oscar was very knowledgeable, and we had the right balance of time to ourselves vs being accompanied. Highlights for us including the photoshoots on the salt flats, which Oscar was brilliant at taking, picnic lunches on the flats (away from the crowds) and enjoying the sunset with a bottle of wine and snacks, set up by our driver Yver. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is thinking of going to Uyuni but doesn't want to do it as part of a large group.

5.00I had an incredible experience on my Salar de Uyuni trip with Al and Coco as my tour guides. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable adventure. From the stunning salt flats and hike to the cactus overlooking the salt flats to the stunning sunset, every moment was breathtaking. Al enthusiasm and professionalism made the tour enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend them for anyone planning a visit to Salar de Uyuni. Best lunch and best champagne toast after the tour. Best day ever!

5.00We were greeted at the airport by our guide Al and driver Consta. We boarded our 4 wheel drive Toyota suv. They drove us out to a small town where we saw how the salt was processed. That is where we entered the salt flats. We drove across to the volcano. It was beautiful and on the edge of the flats. We got out and walked around to see the llamas and flamingos that graze there. While we were doing that Consta set up a great picnic lunch on a table next to the car out on the salt flats. We enjoyed a nice lunch with a spectacular view of the volcano. After that we were taken to the Inca island where we saw the ancient cacti and got a 360 degree view of the flats. Just breathtaking! After we drove around some more stopping to take some fun photos and other spots of interest. Lastly they set up a table for drinks(hot and cold) for us to watch the sunset. They really took care of us well and accommodated all our requests. They were funny and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again. Thanks!

5.00We were four friends from Sweden on this tour. Our guide Alvaro and chauffeur Coco were friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the places we visited. We can in particular recommend adding the star gazing activity to your itinerary. Coco drove very smoothly and we all found the car comfortable. The food was delicious, fresh and warm even though we were served in the middle of the salt desert. The night bus included from La Paz was very comfortable, the wide seats could be reclined almost 180 degrees. I can highly recommend this tour!

From the pick up at the bus stop, Israel's amazing skills as a photographer and all his valuable insights, the amazing overnight stay in a salt hotel, the food, the sunset and the flexibility of a private tour, made this trip so special.
