  Besides Lalibela, I did Addis, Axum and even Gondar. I absolutely LOVED my trip!!! With the guides' teaching, answering all questions, going off the written path, and patience, I felt like I was immersed in Ethiopian religion, politics and history. Some days I was overwhelmed with the amount of learning. This trip was 9 days, build in a rest day or two. The history goes back centuries!! Sometimes we would sit in the churches and talk history/politics/origins. Take notes, and yes sometimes I googled the information, the guides were accurate. And Ethiopia's fresh food😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤and yes, we could see the poverty in the villages, our guides were gracious enough to help us give 192 children notebooks, pen, pencils, eraser & candy, and that was one town, we did it again in the next!!!   Our tour with Sycamore was a personalized one. We visited Lalibela, Gondar, Simien mountains and Bahirdar. Haile made arrangements in all these locations making the tour seamless. The tour guides were great with the exception of the guide for Simien mountain who was good but had some language limitations. In all, our trip was a success and we loved every bit of it.

  I went to Lalibela for three days and two nights tour with the best travel company sycamore Ethiopia Tours . I have visited the magnificent lalibela rockhewn churches , i hiked to Asheten Maryam church , i went out of lalibela town to see the most impressive church of Yemerhane Kirstos and on the last day on the way to airport of Lalibela for Addis flight i visited Na'akutelab cave church . The sites are very amazing they have beautiful architecture , detail works , landscapes , culture ,belief and the life of the Lasta (Agew) people is pretty astonishing . I am very happy traveling with the tour operator of sycamore Ethiopia Tours Mr. Haile because he is a smart , friendly , helpful and flexible guy. Generically, all his team are best and professional i like it they make my stay comfortable and fulled with a lot of unforgettable memories . Travel to Lalibela with sycamore Ethiopia tours and visit the wonderland site of Lalibela town and its surroundings its really worthy you have to see it .
