• An experience for the rest of our lives!

  A trip we will remember for the rest of our lives, everything was perfect from start to finish! The contact with Robert and Mary for the planning was very smooth, they responded quickly to all emails and inquiries. Our guide Mike Maina was punctual, nice and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much about the animals during the trip. He read the animals and never put us in danger, he respected the animals and gave them space. Thanks to Mike, we got the best experience we could ever have wanted. We stayed at Ol Tukai lodge in Amboseli 2 nights, got a room in front of the savannah where the elephants move every day. The food and service was very good here, we will especially remember Abby who took good care of us. In Tsavo west we stayed at Kilaguni Serena lodge, also a great accommodation. The rooms here we experienced somewhat dated and need some renovation. The pool was under renovation and closed during our stay. The highlight of Kilaguni is the restaurant area due to the waterhole. We witnessed a hunt where hyenas chased a water buffalo down the watering hole during dinner. We also visited Mzima springs and got a walking tour with a ranger and watched hippos and crocodiles. There are no fences here so you have to stay close to your ranger. The last place we stayed was Satao camp in Tsavo east, a tent camp without fences. This was a special experience where the animals come very close, you are not allowed to walk by yourself after the sun has gone down and you hear lions, elephants and hippos at night. The food and staff were absolutely incredible at this place, The conclusion is that we will definitely book the next safari with Explorer Kenya and will demand that we get Mike Maina again:)

  Martin was our driver. He did great. We had a beautiful vacation. Amboseli was full of animals. Tsava West at the voyager zwiani we did safari by feet. That was absolutely fantastic because we saw lots of crocodiles and Hippos. In Tsavo east we saw less animals but we saw two different lions.   5 great days with Douglas, excellent game driver, who knows perfectly the wildlife of the parks and does everything possible to find the big five! Lions, leopards, cheetahs... we've been spoiled! Thank you Douglas for making our stay magical!

  We had a wonderful 5-day safari with pick-up at Diani Beach, visiting Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli, and ending with accommodation near Nairobi Airport. The trip was amazing — our driver Godffrey was outstanding (highly recommended), everything was perfectly organized, and everything went smoothly. The lodges were also a dream, and the wildlife we saw was incredible. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic experience that we can recommend to everyone.

  What an unbelievable experience! My wife and I have never safaried, and neither had a lot of people in our group. Those that had, were still massively impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of our guides. Sammy Ndungu was our driver and we felt so safe with the way he drove and dealt with the wildlife within the park. Sammy was friendly, chatty, funny and very knowledgeable. We were picked up from where we were staying in Thika, driven to and through Tsavo East for 4 days and then on to our hotels in Watamu. All the while Sammy did everything he could for us, prioritising our safety and comfort and taking extra care with the two young babies within our group.   We had an unforgettable safari experience thanks to our amazing guide, Sammi! He was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and explained everything so well. He was always open to questions and made sure we felt informed and comfortable throughout. As a group of girls, we felt completely safe and respected—Sammi treated us with kindness and professionalism the whole time. Highly recommend this tour and especially Sammi!

  That was the best experience in my life. We've seen a lot of beautiful animals. Our guide John Kariuki was very knowledgeable about animals and nature. He knew from his observations when we might encounter lions. And that's how it's always been. he looked after us very well and took care of everything. Thank you very much John. It was a great pleasure to meet you. I highly recommend!!!

  We went on a wonderful 5-day tour through Amboseli and Tsavo national parks. Communication beforehand via email was good and easy. We were picked up from our accommodation in Nairobi and got dropped off at our stay in Diani Beach. All 5 days had new highlights, with many different animals, landscapes and views. Anthony was a great guide and he made sure we had a good time and that we see all the cool animals.
