Picked up at Arusha Airport and depart for Tarangire National Park for a game drive. First, you will stop at the last-minute supermarket in Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before heading tou Tarangire. The driving is along The Great Northern Highway across the Masai steppe & many villages all the way to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its huge Baobab trees & large elephant population, you may expect to spot herds of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers, this is the paradise over 400 species of bird have been recorded here which includes the rare species of Ash Staling, Great Kudu & fringed Eared Oryx are among the rare species found in Tarangire. Very punctual even often in advance the first day at the airport, the first day of the safari and Joshua picked us up at 4am at the Pension to take us to the airport.
