We offer you a safe and fun trekking experience through Colca Canyon with local, easygoing and bilingual guides. During this trekking experience you will see volcanos, different animals like Condor and Alpacas, you will see local plants and fruits, you will try local food at small villages inside the canyon, don't forget to request vegetarian options.
You will walk through the canyon with the sunrise and relax at the hot springs on the last day. After this experience you will feel recharged of energy and feeling in love of Peruvian lands even more.

Starting between 3:20 am to 3:40 We will go to Colca Canyon, the fourth deepest canyon in the world and we will hike inside the mountains. We will have stops to see Condors, the sacred birds of the incas, we also could see Alpacas, Vicuñas and Llamas plus some volcanos. After a long day of walking down and upwards, you will rest at the oasis Sangalle where you can find a pool, at night you can see the stars before going to sleep and recovering. On the 2nd day you will hike up the mountain early in the morning and while the sun is rising, you must have with you snack because breakfast is after the hike at Cabanaconde town. After breakfast we will drive back doing stops in the town of Maca and viewpoint to observe the terraces or Andenes which were used by the Incas then you will have the chance to relax at the Hot springs of Chacapi. After that we will arrive to Chivay for an optional buffet. Finally we will get in Arequipa City around 5pm close to the Monastery of Santa Catalina. Follow the indications of our guides for a safe journey.

1.00No warm shower at the accommodation and spiders beneath the bed, tour guide did a very poor job (seldom waited of the hikers, which aren’t as fast as other group members, less communication skills), first breakfast in the morning of the first day was not satisfying at all (less food to eat, no coffee, jam was served in very small bowls, there was no possibility for a second helping, not even of jam), we didn't stop to look at the commodore, which I was disappointed the most! No second option available instead of the lunch (buffet) on the second day, and the tour costs us 80€ per person because we booked online on the website of viator, if we have booked in Arequipa at any travel agency we would have paid 60€ instead of 80€

5.00First day: fairly intense downhill most of the morning (hard on my knees), hot, but beautiful views of the valley and condors flying overhead, guide showed us many interesting things about the surrounding nature and geography Second day: early wake up to get to the top of the valley before the hottest of the morning sun, thermal springs are a welcome relax after around 3 hours of steep uphill, all you can eat buffet with nice Arequipan specialties If you’re fit : moderate hike, if unfit : moderate-hard Overall: Jimi our guide was brilliant, very organised and happy to answer questions, very knowledgeable and encouraging, friendly. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
