Laguna Lagunillas
We're starting our adventure! Between 6:10 and 6:20 AM, our team will stop by your hotel in Puno to start the journey to Chivay, about 300 km away. Along the way, we will make a stop at Laguna Lagunillas, a water mirror surrounded by altiplanic landscapes where you can see pink flamingos, Andean ducks and other migratory birds. Enjoy the scenery and capture stunning photos of this natural gem.
Abra Patapampa
Our route continues through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, a protected ecosystem where it is common to see vicuñas in their natural habitat. Then, we will arrive at the Mirador de los Andes – Patapampa, located 4,910 meters above sea level, the highest point of the tour. From here, enjoy a spectacular view of the Cordillera Occidental and the volcanoes Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya and Ubinas. An ideal place to admire the grandeur of the Andean landscape.
Chivay
We will arrive in Chivay between 1:00 and 1:30 PM, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical Andean food. Afterwards, you will have time to settle into your hotel and prepare for the visit to the La Calera Thermal Baths (38oC), where you can relax in its mineral-rich hot springs. After dark, we will return to Chivay for a dinner show with folk dances from Arequipa and Chivay, where you can be part of the show. We finish the day with rest in the hotel.

Colca Canyon
We start the day at 6:00 AM with breakfast at the hotel, and then head to the impressive Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world with more than 4,000 meters of depth. Here, you will have free time to tour the surrounding area and admire its mountainous landscapes, pre-Inca terraces and steep walls.
Mirador Cruz del Condor
We head to the Cruz del Condor Viewpoint, the most famous spot in Colca Canyon, where we can observe the majestic flight of the Andean condor, the largest flying bird in the world. Hopefully, we'll see these stunning birds gliding over the canyon in their natural habitat. This is one of the most iconic moments of the trip and a must-see opportunity to take spectacular photos.
Yanque
We set out to return to Chivay, passing through Andean villages such as Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, where you will know the colonial architecture, its ancient churches and the pre-Inca agricultural terrace systems still in use. Discover the authenticity of life in the Andes and immerse yourself in the local culture.
Chivay
Before finishing the tour, we will enjoy a last buffet lunch in Chivay, with a variety of Andean dishes. Then, we will board our tour bus to Arequipa, with estimated arrival between 4:30 and 5:00 PM at the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa, where this unforgettable adventure ends.

5.00Raul is a great guide! His knowledge of the area and its history is amazing. He and our driver Alex took great care of our tour party for the entire two day trip. The views on this tour were truly breathtaking and we were lucky enough to see several condors soaring high above Colca Canyon. Highly recommended this tour!

5.00Great option to know southern Peru. Views are amazing and the tour guides are polite and knowledgeable. Overall, the experience is recommended. Hotel in Chivay was good, as well as all the meals provided. Dinner in Chivay was fun with the traditional music and dances. Visit to the termal bath was great. Beware that it's not that easy to watch condors flying, we only saw one.

4.00Great way of travelling from Puno to Arequipa via Chivay and Colca Canyon. Our guide, Victor, was very good - giving us lots of interesting information and fluently switching between Spanish and English throughout. We particularly enjoyed the thermal baths in Chivay, the Colca Canyon and the dance show at dinner in Chivay. Only 3 of us had booked onto the tour so they connected us up with other groups who were coming from Arequipa and going back there, which worked well - the mixing of tours meant we had a bigger group and coordination was smooth and well organised. Downsides: food at dinner in Chivay was very simple and we would have preferred to be able to pay for an upgrade. Also the hotel in Chivay was fine but other members of our group were staying at a much nicer hotel in another village and we would have liked to have the option to pay to upgrade to that hotel, or be able to book it ourselves directly.

5.00It was a great tour . An amazing way to travel from puno to Arequipa while you visit so many places so many view points , little hikes , hot springs and the condor colca canyons . My tour had all meals included and the entrance fee to canyons as well . You see lots of places on your way to Chivay then you stay the night and next day you see the condors flying and the colca valley . The guide “ Bryan “ was good and given the hard task of speaking French and English for the entire tour , he was good made sure we all got the necessary information and made sure he took us to as many stops as possible. It was a good tour

4.00The views at Colca Canyon were just amazing, we couldn’t stop taking pictures at every stop! The overall experience was very good quality: the guide had a great knowledge about the history, flora and fauna of the place, which greatly enriched the tour. I felt confident throughout as the tour planning was very organized and careful. In addition, the prices were very accessible, making this adventure ideal for travelers with different budgets. Accessibility was also good, with well-marked roads and options for different levels of difficulty. I definitely recommend this experience for those looking for nature, culture and adventure in one place
