• Horrible Service from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

  I booked a flight from Amsterdam to Lima, return Sao Paulo to Amsterdam. I booked a flight that had the option to change the return flight (with some extra costs). I did indeed need to change the date of my return flight, I logged in to my account at KLM where the message was that it was not possible to change my return flight online in the portal and that I had to contact the KLM service centre. I tried to call the phone number provided. But that number is a joke. There are no people answering that number, just a silly menu that leads to nowhere. So I tried the WhatsApp number provided. There you get a bot that leads you to several questions, repeats that the change can not be made online, and promises to connect you with a service agent. The bot put me in queue but already warned that it "could take a while" before a service agent would respond. I'm now in queue for over 21 hours. KLM makes promises while booking, has a fake contact centre and in the end provides zero service... a very bad experience

  Vania was a very friendly guide. It was at our pace (which was not the fastest) and helped us a lot with the photos. Fully recommended

  I was a bit hesitant about the cost at first, as you can just put the trip together alone as well for a much less, but I have to say it was so worth it. I felt really altitude sick in the morning and it was so nice to not have to find the right bus etc. but have everything arranged. There was no one else on my tour and my guide was incredibly knowledgeable and tought me so much about the inkas and bolivian culture. I just had the best experience. For me personally the cost of the tour was 100% worth it.

  Let's start with positive, the guide was fabulous in Copacabana and helped with some difficulties with Visa issues. The bus travel is awful. We were not picked up from the hotel and the bus left without us. No guide on the bus just instructions which buildings to go to for immigration then he disappeared. We were due to catch the 6 pm bus but again it left without us. Our guide helped us grab a taxi to flag it down. Ricardo was with us and kudos to him in so many ways. I'm glad the car was waiting upon our return to take us back to the hotel but almost an hour later than scheduled.

  Carlos, our guide, was exactly what a guide should be. He had a relaxed manor, was knowledgeable, informative, and worked at our pace. He was interesting and interested; we had great conversation throughout the day. The short tour of Copacabana was perfect to understand the history of the town, its context in Bolivia, and how it works today. The boat trip to Isla del Sol was stunning. The views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking, they were worth the trip alone. Time spent on the island was enough for us to see notable sights and have a beer! But, be warned, there are lots of steps! The bus ride from Puno to Copacabana and from Copacabana to La Paz was straightforward and uneventful. The border crossing was well explained by staff and equally uneventful. From Copacabana to La Paz, be prepared for the delights of a boat crossing between San Paulo and San Pedro. Although it delays the journey, it is a real spectacle.

  I loved the experience, the guide was very knowledgeable and the agency took care of all the details: from lunch, to all transports in Copacabana and back to Puno.

  "What an amazing experience my friends and I had on the Copacabana and Sun Island tour! Everything was perfectly organized, from punctuality to transfers. The Guide was very friendly and showed his passion for sharing local history and culture. We spent fun times exploring Isla del Sol, hiking and admiring the breathtaking views of Lake Titicaca.
