Curtea de Arges Monastery
Did you know that Arges city was the first capital of Romania Country? Everyone knows that truly good, beautiful and durable things come only through sacrifice, which will become apparent when you reach the old town of Curtea de Arges. With a rich and eventful history, this is where you get to see the ruins of the Wallachian princely court, the 13th century Royal Church, as well the famous Arges Monastery, an important historical monument with an interesting, yet sad story.
Poienari Castle
If we were to put together a tour of the castles in Romania for Dracula fans and adventure lovers, Poenari Castle would have to be on the list, being an important Romanian tourist attraction. Big Square (Piata Mare)
The Large Square is the largest of the squares of Sibiu, opening a wide perspective, typical to the Renaissance and the following ages. Here we have the historical centre of Sibiu, mentioned for the first time in 1411 as a grain market. The Large Square exits since 1366, alongside the finalization of the third fortification belt of the city. Starting with the 16th century, the Large Square becomes the centre of the citadel.
Piaka Mica
The main square in the city was built in 1366, along with the third lane of city fortifications. The square has retained its original appearance from the 15th-16th centuries with minor modifications. All the buildings surrounding it have the status of monuments. They include both residential houses and public utility buildings as well as elements of fortifications.
Cozia Monastery
Cozia Monastery, erected close to Călimănești by Mircea the Elder in 1388 and housing his tomb, is one of the most valuable monuments of national medieval art and architecture in Romania.

5.00Another great tour with Nicolas. My girlfriend and I were fascinated again by this wonderful tour, the proof being some of the pictures posted here. On the way, Nicolas introduced us to the history of the places, stopped as many times as we needed and listened to quality music. It was two wonderful days and we will definitely call on this company again. The guides are also very well trained, and the company manager, Nicolas, when he is not the guide doing the tour, makes sure that everything is perfect and that the people he works with are of the best quality. The road is fascinating, Nicolas stopped to take pictures of bears, we saw storks with their young, squirrels, even a hedgehog. Everything was arranged perfectly as always and I have no reason why I would not use the services of this company again. This tour is wonderful and I recommend it to everyone!

5.00From Our first contact Nicolas, he responded promptly to all my messages and there were a lot, I trusted him. Our 2 days trip to be suitable for a mobility scooter or limited walking and our interests. Unfortunately Nicolas was unwell for our trip but still corresponded and arranged for Daniel to be our guide. I have to say Daniel was simply amazing, polite and a walking encyclopaedia! He went the extra mile helping me and nothing was too much trouble for him. We visited Libearty Bear Sanctuary which is a must, but take a box of tissues, we saw Bran Castle and Gardens. Day 2 we were on Transfagarasan Road which was amazing with all seasons in a day including snow, yay! We were extremely honoured to see a bear cub which in itself would be enough, but the spectacular scenery was was the icing on the cake. Photos don’t do it justice it’s truly a place to see in person. Daniel was the perfect replacement, we all loved our experience and the history of this fabulous country. We would definitely book again with Nicolas and Daniel they were simply the best tour guides we’ve had and we’d give a 6 rating if possible. Until next time ... 😍 Liz Toni Sally

5.00Nicolas was excellent, had an amazing two days seeing many incredible sights. Very knowledgeable. I organised a private tour for 8 people from Cluj back to Bucharest. We spent one night in Sibiu, stopped along many places along the way that Nicolas recommended. All up it was amazing. He is very approachable, easy to coordinate and organise and make the plan suit our needs.
