This 2 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking safari starts and ends in Kigali, is designed for visitors who prefer to use the shortest route to Bwindi from Kigali Rwanda instead of the 10 hours journey from Entebbe international airport Uganda.

The journey begins in Kigali Rwanda to Bwindi through Cyanika border then Kisoro to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or Katuna.

Gorilla trekking Safari in Uganda takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable forest for an amazing time observing wild mountain gorillas.

The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a large primeval forest located in south-western Uganda in the Kanungu District. The Bwindi forest is on the edge of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift, at elevations ranging from 1,160 to 2,607.

The forest contains around 160 species of trees and over 100 species of ferns and countless butterflies.

Bwindi forest is thought to be a remnant of a vast forest that once covered most of Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Take early morning breakfast, then your driver will pick you up from the hotel/place of residence and transfer to Bwindi Impenstrable forest National Park, Through Cyanika Border on your way to the Park you will view the beautiful scenery of Kisoro hills while heading to the Park, check in to your reserved lodge to refresh up and have lunch Visit the Batwa community to experience indigenous ways of living, vibrant songs and dance, Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up for early morning breakfast at around 5.30 am, pick up your packed lunch and transfer to the point. Park ranger will group and assign each into 8 people (gorilla group) you will be tracking. Proceed forest for trekking the gentle giants. After about an hour of encounter with Mountain Gorilla, return to the snacks, and refreshments and get ready for the journey back to Kigali.
