We offer a unique life drawing experience! Situated in a fine workshop attached to a city centre cafe of some renown the life drawing session is fun, relaxed and memorable!
You will be guided to your seats, usually a circle around a model (or two!) and handed your sketchpad and drawing materials.
The life model (or models!) will of course be nude throughout the evening and will adopt a range of poses to suit the evenings theme (the sessions are often themed or delivered as a performance).
You will be given instruction if so desired but in general our sessions of life drawing are sketch practice for artists or for those dipping their toes or wishing to try out something new.
We have been offering life drawing sessions in Cardiff for well over ten years and have built up an enviable reputation as excellent employers, innovative models and renowned artists!

You will be guided through a two hour life drawing session. There will be a nude model in the room and they could be male or female. Often we have two models working alongside each other. Basic art materials will be provided and if you have never drawn before guidance on where to begin, how to be expressive and how to sketch using measuring will all be given. You will leave with about ten sketches of between five and fifteen minutes of sketching duration.

5.00Took my daughter was nice quiet class think it was because of the weather. Teacher very good & Beth was a great model. Coffee upstairs was lovely will return but when weather is better as it was cold.

5.00Friendly and relaxed drawing class, need to book these days, but very easy to use website. Different models and themes plus lively chit chat makes for a good night. Would defo recommend.
