  Amazing experience booking with Borneo Calling for our first Mt. Kinabalu climb! The instructions were clear and our enquiries were answered promptly.   I had an absolutely wonderful time with Borneo Calling's Mount Kinabalu tour package, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the very beginning, the experience was smooth and well-handled. The admin staff who assisted me during the booking process was genuinely kind and attentive — they took the time to listen to my expectations, gave helpful feedback, and recommended a package that was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. It made the whole sign-up process feel effortless and reassuring. The trip itself was packed with great experiences. We explored a charming mountain village and visited several fascinating points of interest included in the package before heading to Kinabalu Park. The local food along the way was a highlight in itself — every dish was delicious and gave me a real taste of Sabah's rich culinary culture. When it came to the hike, my assigned mountain guide was absolutely outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the trail and knew it inside out. Whenever I struggled on the more demanding sections of the climb, he was right there to help me through it — patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout the entire ascent.   Wonderful experience climbing Mt. Kinabalu. The sunset, sea of clouds, night hike, and sunrise were some of the most beautiful sights. Had a great time on the trail (well paced) thanks to Jimmy.

  I'm recently conquered Mount Kinabalu Summit and done Low’s Peak Circuit Via Feratta on Apr 2026. Amazing view and scene along the hiking journey，it a great experience! (Tips: Join via Ferrata plus want reach summit , training  & be ready b4 hike it will help a lot due to really need some strength and got time concerned. u can do it💪) TQ for all Borneo Calling Team friendly staff, driver & mountain guide assist along the 3D2N trip. Special  thanks to Sky ，assist and reply my enquiry & document needed before the trip begin Mount Kinabalu a place that must visit !   The schedule is very nice and relaxing.only bad part is eating non stop.driver is nice talking and friendly,even remind the member to prepare well those important thing before the hiking start.the guide doing his great job ensure the member is safe on journey.he did even teaching the easy path that not exhausting energy to reach the peak.well just a little part is photo skill can be improve for fully enjoyment since all member is brain jammed and exhausting.

  We are 3 days and 2 nights trip, the first day to stay in Shimano Park, in advance there is also a trip with us, very good👍 The second, three days began to climb the mountain, because I walk slowly, along the way is our guide Kenny has always pressed me, from time to time cares about our physical condition, along the way with us chat, encourage us👍! It is very happy to finally climb the top and see the great view, and the return to the mountain down is also necessary to rely on willpower! The T-shirt was also very good! Also thanks to the driver big brother for 2 hours drive to get us back to the city hotel👍 There is a small suggestion: in the future there can be more than one plan is to go down the mountain to stay in the hot spring, and the next day to enjoy the flowers of the great king, so that the tired body can immediately blow the hot spring to rest!

  Overall, a very rewarding and memorable experience climbing Mount Kinabalu. The journey was physically demanding, especially the summit push early in the morning, but the views from the top made it all worth it. The sunrise at the peak was absolutely stunning and something I’ll never forget. The logistics were well organized, from registration at HQ to the transport to Timpohon Gate. The trail is generally well maintained, though quite steep in certain sections, so a decent level of fitness is definitely required. Meeting fellow climbers along the way also made the experience more enjoyable and motivating. One thing to note is that the weather can change quickly, so proper gear is important. Overall, I would highly recommend this climb to anyone looking for a challenging adventure with incredible scenery. Thank you!
