  We would appreciate for group check in at the national park to be more organised. Dedicated Borneo Calling personnel should be at site to arrange not to leave group in blank and don’t know what to do. Also in “hunting” for Borneo Calling personnel for advice and arrangements. The arrangements was not in good order.

  We three of us were very thankful to Borneo Calling for arranging this tour for us. Borneo calling is a safe and reliable tour company that you should engage to. Sky who is a person in charge responded to me very fast when I surveying which company to engage with. I am thankful to my great decision as he is very professional and would answered to my every question. The most important was safe and wonderful hike. We were welcome by Khuzaile and Albienie. They both were so friendly and helpful. I must give a thumbs up to my tour guide to ensure my 10 years old son went up till the summit. He (Subri) helped us carrying heavy luggage and waited patiently accompanying us walk down till the end (our legs were very sore and weak). Our stays were both just beside the restaurant and super convenient for us. The only drawback was not able to take a hot bath at KK as it was cold and we dare not take a bath but just wipe of body.

  Amazing experience with Borneo Calling! Everything was smooth and well organized from start to finish. We took the 3D2N package, which was perfect for easy acclimatization, and stayed at Kinabalu Pines Resort, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Special thanks to our drivers, Edward and Sofri, who were friendly and attentive, and made the trip extra memorable by bringing us to great local spots, including trying Sinalau Bakas (roasted pork) in Kundasang. Day 1 was very convenient with hotel pickup from KK City, followed by Kinabalu Park registration and a visit to Desa Dairy Farm, which was a highlight. Also appreciate Albianie at Kinabalu Park for the clear and helpful guidance upon arrival. After the climb, we were told that if we descended before 4:30pm, we could enjoy a buffet at Sutera Sanctuary Lodge and it was such a great experience. Imagine coming down from Panalaban to Timpohon Gate after reaching the summit and being welcomed straight away with a buffet lunch. It was the perfect ending to the climb.   Great experience - good food, good stay at Mount K! Firstly, I would like to thank our mountain guide Sam. He gave us space to hike at our own pace, and was very attentive especially during our Summit day. Sam made sure we safely reached the summit, warned us about the slippery tracks / where to step and where not to, and lastly he also made sure I descend back to Timpohon smoothly despite the heavy rain. Thanks Sam! Our driver Mukmin was also really friendly and gave us much encouragement + good vibes before we started hiking. Overall, it was a fun and memorable trip!

  Summit day 18 May - Thank you to my best mountain guide Sam! Sam was very dedicated and caring throughout our hike, always keeping a look out for me, guiding me on which rock to step on and how to climb up to the Summit. His briefing at the start of each day was also very clear and informative where he share with us tips that helped us a lot during the hike. He also keeps giving us words of encouragement, making our hike enjoyable and fun despite the rain! Thank you to my driver Mukmin too for bringing us around KK during the 1st day of our tour and a comfortable ride. He was also very helpful in checking with us on our packing list to ensure that we don’t miss out anything. Thank you very much to my driver on the last day too for bringing back the hiking poles that we left in the car. I also had a smooth experience over my 2 days hike with Borneo calling - comfortable accommodation, good food and smooth process from 1st day to the end of our hike!

  We spent a full three-day, two-night, and one-day Shinjuku diving trip. The schedule can be communicated in LINE and Chinese. On the actual walk, whether it is transportation, food, accommodation, guides, reception staff arrangements are outstanding performance, the stay at the foot of the mountain park is excellent and surprising.   Climbing Mount Kinabalu was one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever faced. The steep trails, freezing wind, thin air, and endless stairs pushed me to my physical and mental limits. There were moments when I wanted to stop, but step by step, I kept going. Reaching the summit before sunrise felt unreal — every pain, every breath, and every struggle became worth it.
