DAY 1 6:30 am Pick up from your hotel at Kota Kinabalu and transfer to Kinabalu Park 8:15 am Meet your mountain guide and collect your packed lunch. Transfer to Timpohon Gate & start hiking 3:00 pm Arrive at Pendant Hut 3:30 pm Attend the mandatory safety briefing in Pendant Hut(Compulsory – There will be NO repeat briefing and NO Via Ferrata on the next day should you miss the mandatory briefing)4.00 pm 6:00 pm Dinner at Laban Rata’s canteen (Dinner Time: 4.30pm – 7pm) 8:00 pm Lights out DAY 2 1:30 am Wake up and have early morning supper 2:30 am Start hiking to the summit with your mountain guide 5:40 am Catch the sunrise on Low’s Peak 6:00 am Descent to meet your Mountain Torq trainer 7.15 am Meet your via ferrata trainer at Sayat Sayat Hut @ 3,668m for your Walk the Torq via ferrata experience at the Via Ferrata starting point before 7.15am, climber who miss the cut-off time will not be allowed on the Via Ferrata. 9:30 am Return to Pendant Hut for a well earned breakfast 11:00 am Check out of Pendant Hut and descent 5:00 pm Arrive at Timpohon Gate. Take the KOKTAS transfer to Kinabalu Park HQ. Collect your certificate and have your late lunch before back to the city

5.00We had an enjoyable 4D3N trip with Borneo Calling. The itinerary was well planned, although the schedule was quite tight at times. We especially appreciated the free trip to Kundasang — it was a wonderful and beautiful place to visit. The Pendan Hut is well kept and clean. Our guide was very responsible, friendly, and helpful throughout the journey, which made the experience even better. Thank you for the memorable trip!

Big thanks to my guide. I couldn't have reached Panalaban and The Summit without your patience and support especially when my legs gave up. TQ Abang for looking after me and helping me through the cramps!!! TQ to our ViaFerrata instructor, James, for the professional guidance on the Ferrata! You made the Via Ferrata feel safe and exciting even at that height. Amazing experience.

5.00I would like to thank Borneo Calling for the great help of our online customer service, shuttle chauffeurs, guides, etc., so I can rest assured that I can start my journey to Shenyang with my busy work. When climbing the mountain, guides often greet us and confirm our physical condition, but we are too tired to talk to him. Recommended for all those who want to visit Shogun!

5.00We booked the 2D1N Mt Kinabalu trek through Borneo Calling and had a really smooth experience from start to finish. They organised everything — pick-up, drop-off, accommodation, meals and the Via Ferrata activity — which made the whole trip much easier to manage. We also had to change our Via Ferrata from Low’s Peak to Walk the Torq on the day, and they helped arrange that without any hassle. Our guide, Flawrence, was very considerate and never rushed us. He kept checking in throughout the trek and even helped carry some of our luggage when things got tough (which we hadn’t pre-booked), which we really appreciated. Overall, very well organised and supportive team. Would definitely recommend Borneo Calling if you’re planning Mt Kinabalu

5.00I had an amazing experience with this team during my Mount Kinabalu trip. Even though I was traveling alone, the entire journey was incredibly well organized and thoughtfully arranged. Every staff member was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They made sure I was comfortable and supported throughout the whole process, which made the trip feel very safe and enjoyable. I truly appreciated their professionalism and kindness. It turned my solo trip into a very special and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
