The stable running performance of a tricycle makes it easy to ride,. Can be driven with a regular driver's license and does not require the wearing of a helmet(Helmets are not required by the Road Traffic Law.) There is no need to wear a helmet even on hot midsummer days, and there is no need to worry about obstructed vision. A regular driver's license is required. Foreign nationals must have a valid international driver's license to use the service. Pregnant women, persons under the influence of alcohol, and other persons deemed by the Company to be incapable of proper driving will not be permitted to participate in the tour or rent a vehicle. If you have any other questions regarding pick-up/drop-off locations, vehicle rental on the day of the tour, or participation in the tour, please feel free to contact us. Precautions In case of danger due to bad weather, we will contact you by phone to cancel the tour. *Please note that the tour may be cancelled if you do not follow the guide's instructions or engage in any dangerous behavior. Please be sure to bring your driver's license on the day of the tour. If you forget it, you will be charged a cancellation fee. Please make sure to bring your international driver's license, documents (Japanese translation) and passport that allow you to drive in Japan. Photocopies of licenses and documents are not acceptable. If you do not have your international driver's license or documents on the day of the event, or if they are incomplete, you will not be able to drive, and a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

A fun ride to Kabira Bay and Oganzaki Lighthouse. Electric trike is really easy to drive and traffic was smooth. We were picked up from our hotel to trike rental and returned back after the drive. Service was good and we were taken good care.

We had a great day with the electric trike with our cruise ship stop in Ishigaki! We brought our International Driver's Permit (Mandatory). They picked us up at the cruise ship terminal bathroom, (just outside the fencing) and took us their office - now located outside town). Their English was understandable and 10000x better than our Japanese (even with translator app). We opted to pay for a 3rd hour for 3000 JPY. The trike was a bit tight for my husband (2 m 3 cm) but workable. They gave us a third battery and showed how to swap if necessary. They had us practice on toads nearby to demonstrate starting/stopping and turn signals. Off we went! We elected to go to the lighthouse. As we were driving along the main road, the tour buses from the ship would pass us. Good riddance - we were having a blast! The trike would slow down going up hills but it conquered them all except for the steep hill at the lighthouse base. It made it about 2/3 of way and then I walked about 100 feet while my husband drove the trike. Lighthouse views were quite scenic. Coming back down we elected to complete the circle as quicker than back tracking. We got back in plenty of time and scooted past the office to the National Park. We skipped the Squirrel Monkey Forest as running out of time. Wished we had rented for 4 hours. Highly recommend this activity!

First of all the people were so kind and gracious but very limited in English- Google translate is your friend! Scooters were fun but we were a little afraid of getting lost so didn’t venture out too far.

Staff picked us up on time at the cruise port. They were very friendly. The trike was well maintained and a lot of fun to drive! We had a great experience and highly recommend!!! Thank you so much for a great time!!

Had a blast with our 3-wheeled motorbike on beautiful Ishigaki. We explored areas that would not have been on any typical tour. We were picked up at the cruise port and returned safely after our ride. Company employees were very friendly and helpful. We had so much fun, we extended our rental an additional hour!

First, must remember to bring your international driving license along. We left them at the hotel, and in the end had to get them to drive us around. But the guides were hilarious in Santa and Reindeer clothes.

While my wife and I made many memories on our March 27-April 10 cruise around Southern Japan and Taiwan, there’s certainly one that stands out: the beautiful ride we did in Ishigaki through Evol Ride. We’ve been on many ship’s tours and learned about magnificent cultural, historic and natural sites around the world…but this one was different and probably THE MOST FUN OF ALL! We rented an electric tricycle from Evol Ride and headed out along beautiful tropical- forested roads following the Ishigaki shoreline. We had the wind at our backs and the roads and amazing scenery and plant life to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed stopping where we wanted. Envious visitors in cars and busses wanted to know where we got the trike! The scenery, the freedom we enjoyed in getting close to nature and the beautiful weather added up to make our trip to Ishigaki unforgettable! While they understood little English, the staff at Evol Ride met us on time in the town of Ishigaki; took us to their business site in the countryside; gave us lessons on how to ride and drive on Japanese roads (left side); gave us a map, suggested a route, sent us on our way and at the end of our ride took us back to the town of Ishigaki where they picked us up. It was an exhilarating experience and one we’d highly recommend. Remember: 1. You’ll need to get an international drivers license before you leave your home country; 2. You should download Google translate on your phone as this will be the primary way you communicate and 3. You’ll enjoy this experience most if you’re “ young at heart”. (We’re in our 60’s and 70’s)!

We had so much fun riding the trike! We felt very safe and would definitely recommend this company. The workers were so nice and helpful and made our experience so memorable! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
