Meet your guide and group at 7:30 AM at the designated meeting point in Bishkek. Board a comfortable minibus and begin your 5-hour drive to Kyzart village, passing through mountain valleys, rivers, and Orto-Tokoy Reservoir along the way.

Kyzart

Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional lunch at a family-run guesthouse, where you’ll get a taste of authentic Kyrgyz hospitality. After lunch, meet your horse guides—you’ll be accompanied by experienced horsemen who will ensure your safety and comfort throughout the journey. They will assist you in mounting the horses and adjusting your riding position before starting the trek.

Begin your 4-hour horseback ride through the rolling hills and alpine meadows of Kilemche Valley. As you ride, breathtaking landscapes unfold, with herds of sheep, horses, and cows grazing freely under the watchful eye of nomadic shepherds. Arrive at a traditional shepherd’s house, where you’ll be welcomed with a home-cooked dinner and an introduction to the nomadic way of life. Spend the evening relaxing in the peaceful mountain setting before settling in for the night.

Start your day with breakfast in the shepherd’s house, then saddle up for a 4-hour ride toward Song Kul Lake. Ride through lush green meadows, where you may see herds of sheep, cows, and horses grazing freely.

Ascend to Jalgyz Karagai Pass, reaching an altitude of 3,400 meters, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Song Kul Lake and the surrounding mountains. This is a perfect moment for photos and to appreciate the beauty of the untouched Kyrgyz landscape.

Son Kul Lake

Descend along the Tuz Ashuu Pass, passing traditional yurts, grazing animals, and nomadic families. Upon arrival at Song Kul Lake, enjoy a warm welcome and a delicious lunch in the yurt camp. Spend the afternoon exploring the lakeshore, relaxing, or immersing yourself in nomadic culture. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz dinner before spending the night in a cozy yurt under a sky full of stars.

Song Kol Lake

Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast in the yurt camp. After breakfast, begin your horseback ride over Kara-Kiya Pass, taking in the final breathtaking views of the vast Song Kul landscapes.

Kyzart

Ride over Kara-Kiya Pass (3,400 m), a beautiful mountain route offering spectacular views of the lake and surrounding valleys before descending toward Kyzart village. Arrive in Kyzart village, where you’ll have lunch at a family-run guesthouse. Say goodbye to your guides and reflect on your adventure before boarding the minibus back to Bishkek.

Bishkek

After a scenic 5-hour drive, arrive back in Bishkek, where the tour concludes with a drop-off at the original meeting point. This marks the end of your incredible horseback adventure through the mountains and pastures of Kyrgyzstan.
