Discover the Kruger National Park at its' best on this wonderful adventure by staying in one of the Parks' Restcamps with your own qualified, specialist guide and open safari vehicle. We take you on an unforgettable safari that you'll be talking about for years to come! This tour is available for 2 nights to 2 weeks. Depart at 12h30 from Hazyview in one of our specially adapted open safari vehicles and enjoy your first game drive on the way to your rest camp, with our professional guide showing you some of the secrets of this world-famous game reserve, which is the size of Wales, or Israel. We will arrive at our camp in the late afternoon and check into your bungalow in time for a sundowner drink. Your guide will cook a delicious BBQ dinner (weather permitting) and we can swap a few stories around the fire, whilst listening for the night sounds of the African bush, before going to bed for a well-earned sleep.

Home-cooked dinner under the stars. Soup to start, braai (BBQ) and dessert
Your guide will wake you up early with tea and coffee for a dawn game drive departure, remember the early bird sees more game! Experience this incredible reserve from the comfort of your open game drive vehicle whilst looking for the “Big 5”and all the other exciting inhabitants of one of Africa’s premier reserves. We will stop at one of the Park’s picnic sites for a delicious outdoor breakfast (weather permitting) before continuing well fed, on the game drive. Return to the camp for lunch (own account) and a siesta. We meet again in the late afternoon for a short game drive with the opportunity of seeing an African sunset (weather permitting). Dinner tonight will be in the restaurant.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience with African Safari Adventures and in particular with our guide Dirk. From the moment he picked us up, Dirk was warm, professional and incredibly engaging, especially with our two young boys. He had a real knack for keeping them interested and involved throughout the entire experience, which made a huge difference for us as a family. What really stood out was his depth of knowledge. Not only was he exceptional at spotting wildlife, but his understanding of bird species was outstanding. He brought the environment to life in a way that went far beyond just “seeing animals”. We were constantly learning and noticing things we would have completely missed on our own. Dirk also went above and beyond to give us the best possible sightings. His persistence, awareness and communication clearly paid off, as he managed to help us see an incredible range of wildlife, including the Big Five and over 160 specie sightings. You could tell he genuinely cared about making our experience special. We also really appreciated the extra touches from safely navigating long days to cooking for us on a couple of evenings it all added to a personalised and memorable experience. Even Tracey who is one of the owners personally prepared some of the generous and delicious meals that supported our dietary needs. If you’re considering a safari with African Safari Adventures, we couldn’t recommend Dirk more highly as your guide. He made our trip truly unforgettable, and our boys are still talking about it.

5.00An incredible adventure from start to finish. Our guide, Dirk, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and fun. Despite the stormy weather we got the best sightings and experienced fantastic food. We were so sad to leave and week definitely book again and recommend.

5.00Private Tour Guide made all of the difference! He picked us up at the Skukuza airport inside the park and we started the safari immediately! We saw a Leopard and her cubs practically within an hour. We stayed inside the park at public "rest camps" - we had a small bungalow. Clean and functional, but not fancy. Our guide made coffee each morning and cooked us dinner (African BBQ) each night. The whole experience was tailored to us - the menus, the animals we wanted to see, etc. Our guide Jay was awesome! He knew animals, birds, plants, trees, and very patiently answered all of our many questions. Loved the whole thing and definitely recommend using this company!
