Yani Island was an incredible experience; their home island is exceptionally beautiful and the family are extremely welcoming and friendly. The island is small but that's where the charm is; it's not packed at all, I though it was the perfect place to relax, honestly feeling very rejuvenated after two nights there. The food is really good as well, always fresh and very tasty. It's very clear they care a lot about their guests, and everyone was very well looked after. It's well worth the price, just remember to bring cash in 1 and 5 dollar bills. 110% recommend Yani Island to anyone looking for a trip to Kuna Yala, and if you're thinking about it, you won't be disappointed at all. Muchas gracias a la gente de la Isla!

I booked the three days two nights San Blas for my trip to Panama. I booked a private room. From the arrival to the island there was disorganization and the accommodation was not in the photos from the ad. During the day there were no SUP to use or working snorkeling gear. Islanders were not given any advice on where to swim or when the tour would be happening. Generally lots of confusion and disappointment all around. Don’t book with this tour group.

A small paradise: an island in the Caribbean with a diameter of 130m. 245 palm trees on it, a few huts for 2-4 people, a house with several rooms (very simple!), very simple sanitary facilities and a common area where you also eat. Outside: turquoise blue sea for swimming and snorkeling. Very nice Gunas. Simple but delicious food (fish and chicken). Electricity (to charge your cell phone!) is only available for a few hours and only in the common area. Nevertheless: good internet connection (e.g. with TIGO). We were there for 6(!) days and were able to go on some really nice excursions. Small suggestion for improvement for the island: more places to sit and lie down to chill. A little more shopping (snacks, ...) would also be recommended. Coconuts are available for a hefty $3. Conclusion: an island for slowing down. If you want luxury, you've come to the wrong place. 5 stars because it was really nice for us (4 adults, 5 children) despite the high price.

San blas is a Wunderfull place to be! It’s beautiful . But with this company were not all tours included. Only the last one. That mean, the other turist go snorkelling and I was on the island . When they pick me up and the tour start. ( 4 days ago I got a reminder that the transport wasn’t included from Panama City to the Atlantic cost 55$ and 22$ fee it’s almost a hundred , that’s bad ). That’s why I give 3 stars But the local were nice, but other tourist can decide between lobster and king crab. I had 3 days fish. The food was good.

The perfect place to chill out for a few days. There is a cell phone signal in the meantime, but as I had no data package I still managed to be deconnected from the world as there is still no Wifi. That was perfect. Food was simple but fresh, very good and healthy (usually it was fish for lunch, chicken for dinner, accompanied by rice or potatoes or fried plaintains, breakfast some egg with tortilla and fresh fruit). Facilities are basic but kept clean and in good shape as far as possbile. Perfect location to get in touch with travelers from all over the world or to simply snooze in a hammock the entire day. Kuna Yala Islands are tiny stretches of sand in the middle of the Carribean Sea, there is nothing but palm trees surrounded by turqoise waters. Picture postcard spot!

Everything about Yanice Island was absolutely lovely. It’s a quieter island which is what I was looking for. The dorm rooms are as expected (make sure to wear bug spray at night). There are bathrooms and showers (cold), but it’s important to be mindful of the island resources when using. I read a lot of reviews about bland food in San Blas, but that was not the case in Yanice Island. We had wonderful food everyday, and plenty of it! Just be sure you don’t leave you’re plate before you’re finished, because they clean up super fast. If it matters to you, bring some butter, sugar, and cream (although, we were fine without it). The family there is so nice and welcoming. They will communicate when meals are ready by blowing a conch, so listen up, because if you miss it, they won’t let you know. We got to go on several excursions, and we felt very safe all throughout. The excursions can take some energy and strength to get on and off the boat, so prepare for that. Definitely rent a paddleboard as well, as you can do a lot of floating around the island. Some phones do work with roaming on the island, but I also suggest bringing a deck of cards to play with the new friends you’ll make while you’re there! I can’t wait to return, and thank you to all that made this trip amazing!

The experience was really great! Viator was reachable for questions regarding the pickup place, then the island is a small paradise! I really enjoyed the stay, the ease of organising it and the hospitality of the hosting indigenous family! Be prepared though to bring coins as beverages are bought on spot (all is USD 2.00).

Yani island was such a treat. Yani is delightful. So many palm trees beautiful beach and great fresh fish. Very quiet. Rooms were fine. Expect cold shower to rinse salt water. Buy cold water, beer, hand made bracelets. Some lights at night. Bring a flashlight. Overall lots of fun.
