Join the ride to the eastern lands of Guatemala. We will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take you to Esquipulas. A place full of history, culture, and religious fervor for its iconic and venerated Black Christ.

Then, visit one of the most beautiful sunflower plantations located just 10 minutes away from the central plaza. Take the most beautiful pictures and relax.

At the end of the day, we will take you to the hotel of your choice to relax and get ready for day 2.

Chiquimula

We will pick you up early in the morning to head to Copan, Honduras where one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mesoamerican region is located, Copan Ruinas.

Dive deep into the heart of Maya history with our knowledgeable bilingual guides. Uncover the secrets of its hieroglyphics and wander through ancient plazas and temples, feeling the presence of a once-great civilization. Here, marvel at the intricately carved stelae and altars that depict various rulers of Copán. Each monument tells a story, revealing insights into the ancient Maya's lives, politics, and beliefs. But Copán is more than just ruins. The site is nestled in a lush valley, surrounded by nature. You'll likely encounter local wildlife as you explore, including vibrant tropical birds and perhaps even a curious monkey or two. The park's natural beauty adds another layer to your experience, blending history with the tranquility of the surrounding forest. This blend of cultural richness and natural splendor makes Copán National Park unique and unforgettable.

We will return to the east of Guatemala to enjoy a horse show before dinner and return to the hotel.

Los Amates

To get to Los Amates Waterfall we´ll arrive at Santa María Ixhuatán Town, learn about it, and enjoy the view. Then, we´ll arrive at Recreation Center Las Marías, where we´ll change transportation to a 4WD vehicle. Los Amates is considered one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Guatemala. Immerse yourself in nature with its exclusive humid tropical Savannah where, thanks to the warm climate, The Amates waterfall is an oasis to refresh your soul. We´ll have lunch at the recreation center of Las Marías.

Guatemala City

On our way back to Guatemala City, we´ll visit "The Slaves´ Bridge" (Puente Los Esclavos in Spanish). There´s a great story behind the name. Discover the story and the history behind this wonderful bridge. Then, we´ll continue our way back to the city until we leave you in your hotel.
