  i did 43 countries so far, and this very one will remain as unforgettable. we went to Erta Ale, we could see the lava glowing thru some cracks. The night camp sleeping was great. Dallol, with the geothermal springs was really fascinating. i recommend without any problem Lucy Ethiopia Tours and the team for their professionalism and kindness. thanks again for this experience.   We connected with Kiros of Lucy Ethiopia Tours and he gave us one of our best overland adventure experiences across the hard-to-believe alien landscape of the Danakil desert and Erta Ale volcano in the Afar region. Top notch driver and guide and a fantastic Toyota Land Cruiser was provided for the 3 days. Safety was the top priority too. Highly recommend Lucy Tours

  I had two weeks to explore Ethiopia and wanted to make the most of my time there. Before traveling, I searched for a reliable tour agency and, after reading several positive reviews, reached out to a few for more information. Several responded, but none as quickly and thoroughly as Mulu Muse, the sales manager at Lucy Ethiopia Tours. I decided to book a tour to the Danakil Depression with Lucy Ethiopia Tours for my first week in the country. I was impressed by the trust they placed in me, they even booked and emailed me the return flight ticket before I had made any payment, with the understanding that we’d settle things once I arrived. A few hours before my flight, I received a message from the airline that the domestic flight to Semera had been cancelled and rescheduled for 10 hours later. On my way to the airport, I contacted Mulu, who immediately arranged a hotel for me in Semera and made sure I could still join a different tour group the next day. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed at the airport by a local guide, and the tour itself was excellently organized. After returning to Addis Ababa, I decided to book two more trips with Lucy Ethiopia Tours: to the Omo Valley and to Lalibela. I also had the chance to meet Kiros Zeray, the owner of the company, at my hotel in Addis. He was friendly, flexible, and thoughtful about payment options and logistics. All in all, I had a very positive experience with Lucy Ethiopia Tours. Their responsiveness, reliability, and personal approach made a big difference.   Our trip through Ethiopia was just perfect and exceeded all our expectations. From the very first contact to the last minute of the tour we felt very well looked after and cared for. Communication was always clear and friendly, which gave us a sense of security even in advance. The guides who accompanied us throughout our trip were not only extremely professional, but also incredibly friendly and trustworthy. They had a deep knowledge of the history and culture of Ethiopia and shared it with us, which enriched the experience. Especially impressive was the personal attention we received throughout the tour. The Lucy Tours team really went beyond the usual to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. On our tour, fresh meals were prepared for us every day, and the food was just delicious. In addition, it was nice to experience the hospitality of the local people. We felt safe and secure at all times, which allowed us to fully enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and fascinating culture of Ethiopia.   If you want to discover Ethiopia, Lucy tour is the best. We had a great experience in Dallol and Danakil with its professional team. We saw the attractions of north with this team. Mr Kiros the owner of Lucy also helped us to visit the Lalibela church and Harar city.

  How difficult it is to describe what this trip was like for Dalol. Of course, this is an experience for the most willing and adventurous, as it includes sleeping in the open air, many hours on the road, a hostile environment, walking on lava, among other "troubles" and risky situations. But the attentive and high-quality team, such as the driver Awet and the guide Anwar, bring peace of mind and make everything even more special. They recorded the entire tour with photos and even offered shoes when ours were falling apart after coming into contact with the desert acid. The food of the cook who accompanied us was a highlight, with seasoning adapted to Western tastes, without losing the local essence. I just have to thank Kiros and all the collaborators for providing unforgettable moments and unparalleled support. It was worth every penny! I recommend the company with my eyes closed.
