  Our 3-day safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with so much other incredible wildlife — every game drive felt unreal. Our driver Gerold was absolutely phenomenal. His knowledge, intuition, and passion for the land and animals made the experience next-level. He always knew where to go, answered every question with depth and care, and made us feel completely safe and looked after the entire time. The landscapes were breathtaking, the wildlife sightings exceeded expectations, and the overall experience felt both adventurous and deeply meaningful. A tiny bit more time would’ve made it perfect — but honestly, this safari exceeded what I ever imagined. Highly recommend to anyone considering Tanzania.

  We selected the 3 day camping safari with Suricata Safaris, trying to consider existing reviews and basically focusing on keeping the budget low on our safari, as it was not our main interest for our trip to Tanzania. I can only say that Suricata Safaris not only did not disappoint, but exceeded our expectations. Both my friend and I had not been to a safari before but are definitely very happy we experienced it and honestly could not expect anything more from our tour provider. Punctual, offering exactly what agreed and our experienced guide / driver managed to get us to the right spots in order to see all big 5, plus a lot of other beautiful animals. Tip for people new to safaris: in my opinion 3 days is the perfect duration of this type of a safari trip. Anything longer would have felt too long

  We did 3 days tour visiting Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Booked by email and paid everything of Italy. Very good service. By email they are always kind and helpful. Arrived in Arusha we found the driver who took us to a beautiful and new hotel. The guide who took us on the safari was Felix. Felix is an amazing guide. Kind, prepared and very quick in capturing the right moments and movements of the animals. Excellent also the chef, who made us always eat different and very good dishes, even pasta al dente in the middle of the savannah! Schedules respected, perfect organization. We managed to see all the Big Five and Felix explained all the curiosities and always answered our many questions with kindness.   Amazing experience that feels like an ‘once in a lifetime’ thing! Absolutely incredible to see all the beautiful wildlife both in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro park. We saw all 5 different animals in the big 5 during our days. Our guide was knowledgeable but seemed a bit tired and disengaged too. 3 days was the right amount of time we thought. We also found the nights in tents to be a surprisingly positive experience. Sleep very well with cool air and good mattresses under the sleeping bags.   Everything was so great! Our guide Anton drove us through ever-changing landscapes, showed us many animals and answered numerous questions about animals, national parks and Tanzania. Serengeti and Ngorongoro have very different landscapes and perfectly complement each other. Our chef Tito cooked great food: while we observed that other groups have lunchboxes, we had proper hot meals and each of the meals was special! Large tents were prepared for us at the camping spots. It was super nice to start the Mornings with a sunrise view in nature.

  Surprising experience with excellent service from the beginning, with Obby welcoming us at the hotel and explaining every detail of the next few days, from our guide Amiri and our chef Samil. They definitely made a difference in our satisfaction. The food made by Samil was very tasty and varied, and our very competent guide managed to take us to the best scenes inside the park. I highly recommend!

  It was an amazing experience.. of a lifetime one.. it was so well organised, the guide explained everything to us, the chef prepared delicious meals for us and we saw all big 5: the leopard, the lion, the elephant, the buffalo and the rhino!   Before booking this trip I checked the previous reviews and all of them said it was fantastic, memorable, etc. I can now say they are correct in that the safari was everything you would hope and dream! The driver and guide speaks excellent English; is very knowledgable on everything, and is a safe driver. He does everything to ensure you are comfortable and get to see all the possible animals. On this trip we got to see all the animals you would hope to see in 2 days so consider ourselves fortunate. The vehicles used are comfortable, rugged and have power so you can charge your mobile devices while on the move. Fresh bottles of water are supplied everyday. There is a cook to comes with you on this trip and does an amazing job of providing a good variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner to suit everyone’s taste. There is plenty of food so you are never hungry! The tents are all ready for you at the end of each day with a mattress, pillow and sleeping bag. When camping on the Serengeti you have to remember you are with the animals so don’t be surprised to hear them close at night. We had an elephant by the bush next to the place we were having our evening meal. This is all part of the experience and is why you camp rather than stay in a lodge. How many people can say they have camped on the Serengeti! The Simba campsite is a good campsite with hot water and clean facilities. The safari experience is a dream come true where for 2 days you get so close to the animals that you forget how dangerous these animals are and are spoilt by the great photos you can capture from being so close.
