Omg every site just kept getting better and better! Two Toyotas in our convoy. Thankfully the vehicle wasn’t full otherwise it could have been uncomfortable. The drivers work so hard with their pre- and post-trip maintenance. Throughout the day they keep the windows crystal clear, allowing us to see better and get photos through the window! The guide spoke English well. I had my own room both nights, and there was power and hot water. There was also wifi available for a small fee. Since I didn’t expect any of these amenities, I planned for none of it, and roughed it! The second day at higher elevation (early March) I wore sleeves and pants because it was a bit colder. Still didn’t need a sleeping bag. For the first day, all salt flats, I wore a buff to protect my face. Food was great! There were communication inconsistencies between “the office” (WhatsApp and check-in desk) the tour ad, and the guides. Essentially the “office” pre trip messaging stressed me out and made me think of cancelling when they told me the evening before of all the issues that we would experience and how different the trip would actually be from the tour ad. But the next morning with the guide, there were no changes or issues and it ran as advertised. We were told we could only bring one back pack. I only had a small one, so I took as little as possible. Of course in practice, pretty much everyone brought at least two bags. I was not impressed at the lack of clear guidance from “the office”.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3D2N tour organised by Beymar, with our driver Bonito. They expertly navigated the high-altitude terrain and gave us memories we will cherish forever. From the surreal salt flats, to flamingo spotting in volcanic lagoons painted in impossible shades of red and green, to the Mars-like landscapes of Sol de Mañana — every day felt completely otherworldly. Beymar and Bonito were extremely professional and kind throughout the trip. They also turned out to be great perspective photographers :). The accommodation and food were basic (as clearly mentioned in the description), but everything was prepared with care and heart. In any case, the breathtaking landscapes more than made up for it. Bolivia surprised us, moved us, and left us wanting more. There is still so much to discover — we will definitely be back. Thank you for being such wonderful ambassadors for your country.

We did rhe 3 day trip. it was the same one mentioned by Vinicius below. Raquel our guide was fantastic as were Alex (our diver) and Reuben the other driver as we went in 2 cars. Note the drivers don't speak English, only the guide. It is hard to find a more enthusistic and helpful guide than Raquel who spoke perfect English. A few things to help fellow travellers: 1) the office in Uyuni is quite small so don't arrive too early. You will need to go ti a nearby hotel to pay to use the toilet. In fact everywhete we went we had to pay to use the toilet! 2) We had to stay back at Uyuni as the hotel on 1st night could not be assessed due to flooding 3) Accimatise before you do this trip...on 2nd night hotel was at 4350m and one girl got sick and needed oygen. Raquel took great gare if her! We pass heights up to 5000m! 3) Only 3 hours to charge devices at the hotel on 2nd night and they rely on solar power. We were lucky as we had (dim) light at night bit others didn't and needed to use the torch on their phone. Wifi did not work. 4) Prepare for long days of travel...there is lots to see and great distances need to be covered. 5) if planning to end tour at San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, be aware the Chilleans can close the border bet Chile and Bolivia at short notice due to bad weather...if flying out of CJC airport, allow some buffer days. But overall we had a super time and highly recommend this trip.

This tour is full on, point to point and full of Bolivian natural wonders. We thoroughly enjoyed our driver Bernard and guide Valerie! The scenery was amazing! The itinerary was spot on! We enjoyed the food. The accommodations were much better than we expected (we were told to bring towels, sleeping bag and TP but didn’t need them). I cannot recommend Valeri (Bali) and Bernard (amigo) enough! They genuinely cared and bent over backwards to make sure our experience was amazing! We were sad to leave but left feeling satisfied, energized and exhausted. Valerie’s explanations were direct and completely understandable. She always had a smile and genuinely took the time to get to know you. Very great tour!

I recommend 100% this adventure in the Salar d’Uyuni with Andes Salt Expeditions. Our driver, Iber, was really adorable. He made the effort to communicate in English and Spanish, stopped spontaneously to show us things and add explanations, and readily accepted our requests for breaks. The accommodations were decent given the isolation: hot showers and toilet paper available, which is not always guaranteed in Bolivia. However, we stay in the desert, without real access to the internet and with simple comfort. Good surprise also for food during the three days, with vegetarian options. There were 11 of us in two jeeps that followed each other, with a great atmosphere from start to finish.

Our 3-day, 2-night Uyuni Salt Flats tour was truly a bucket list experience, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Everything was seamless, organized, and thoughtfully run from start to finish. The landscapes were surreal, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Raquel. Her knowledge of Bolivia — its history, culture, and geography — added so much depth to everything we saw. Beyond that, her energy was incredible. She struck the perfect balance between informative and fun, creating such a warm, engaging dynamic within our group. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it made all the difference. Our drivers, Ruben and Alex, were fantastic — we felt completely safe navigating the terrain the entire time. The transfer into Chile was also incredibly smooth thanks to them. Raquel helped us with all the necessary forms and made sure we understood the process, and Alex handled the drive seamlessly. It could have easily been stressful, but they made it feel effortless. A special thank you as well to Margarita, who cooked for us on the first day. As a vegetarian, I felt completely accommodated and taken care of. This trip exceeded every expectation. I wouldn’t change a single thing and would recommend it wholeheartedly. Truly unforgettable.
