Experience 20 kilometers of rainforest views with your guide, and top the trip off with a quintessential Costa Rican experience; a fantastic trip to a gorgeous, mountain-side waterfall hidden within the tropical rainforest. The 3 Hour Tour is where the real fun begins. This epic tour has two stops at waterfalls providing amazing photo opportunities.

All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
Recommended to Bring: Camera, Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
Children under 4 years old can't ride
Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers

The Tour de la Paz begins in the mountains directly behind Jacó, and continues roughly half the distance to the peak of the mountain to a beautiful 35ft. waterfall (Cascada del Zorro) – a perfect spot to get a little wet and take some photos. Just beyond the crest of the mountain lies a beautiful mirador offering views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio Park, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas.

Continuing along the mountain tops and through the rainforest, you arrive at the second, incredible waterfall of your tour with us - the exciting Pura Vida waterfall. Surrounded by lush rainforest and crested by a natural rock platform, thrill-seeking adventurers may jump over 15 feet down into the crisp, refreshing waterfall pool below. The sounds of rushing water, coupled with the call of exotic birds combine to make this visit to the Pura Vida Falls a truly Costa Rican experience that you will remember for years to come. To end the tour, we ride the loop that takes us right to the edge of the famous Carara National Park, and then begin our decent back to Adventure Tours in Jaco.

5.00We ended up being the only people on our tour, but that didn’t stop us from having an excellent time! We rode with Denis, who was a friendly and patient guide! He was very funny and even helped us brush up on some new Spanish terms. He was watchful for obstacles and made sure we always felt safe. We stopped for incredible views from the tops of the mountains and mid ride we enjoyed a quick swim in a beautiful and refreshing waterfall! After the waterfall we were given the option to drive a bit further to a restaurant with a stunning view. I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and/or snack! It is a bit dusty in the dry season. Though the helmets do have face covers, if we did it again I think I’d recommend goggles and maybe a gaiter face mask. Even with the dust, it was very cool to get off the beaten path and see a different side of Jaco. 100% would recommend the journey and riding with Denis!

5.00The experience here was top notch, great customer service/check-in, newer facility with modern equipment & vehicles, and great staff. Our guide Justin was awesome...friendly, knowledgeable, found unexpected wildlife along the way for us to see & stop to take photos! We really loved the personalized attention we received & it was just the 2 of us on the ride (no large group). There were other groups there and they all seemed to get their own guides.

5.00Wear clothes you can get dirty . Wear a bathing suit because swimming in the waterfall is a highlight . Our guide Will, was awesome . The pictures they take will cost you 40-50.00 so take your own .

5.00Our guide was nice & friendly. The company started us with a safety video then our guide explains it farther. It was kinda nerve racking at the beginning & once you’re used to it, it is quite fun. The guide brought use to 2 waterfalls & gave us some time to enjoy it. He is also our private photographer & the photos turned out amazing. It’s definitely an unforgettable experience & highly recommended. We saw 2 toucans & a macaw during our ride. They were beautiful.

5.00We had the best time! Will, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The entire group was my family of four. We went to this amazing little swimming hole and jumped off the rocks. Will pointed out some toucans, which we were excited to see. My only recommendation, is if you take this tour and it’s the dry season, bring a Bali or a scarf to cover your mouth. Your face will get very dusty.

5.00Probably my favorite excursion ever! We went on a Monday and my family of 4 was the entire group. Will, our guide spoke great English and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I think he saw we were all comfortable on a four wheeler, so while we were never in danger, he did not baby us either, which was fantastic. The jungle and sights are amazing. We went to a private swimming hole where we were the only group, we got to swim and jump from the rocks above. We also got to see some toucans! Such a fun day! I highly recommend
