Experience 20 kilometers of rainforest views with your guide, and top the trip off with a quintessential Costa Rican experience; a fantastic trip to a gorgeous, mountain-side waterfall hidden within the tropical rainforest. The 3 Hour Tour is where the real fun begins. This epic tour has two stops at waterfalls providing amazing photo opportunities.

All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
Recommended to Bring: Camera, Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
Children under 4 years old can't ride
Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers

The Tour de la Paz begins in the mountains directly behind Jacó, and continues roughly half the distance to the peak of the mountain to a beautiful 35ft. waterfall (Cascada del Zorro) – a perfect spot to get a little wet and take some photos. Just beyond the crest of the mountain lies a beautiful mirador offering views of the ocean playing against sands as far south as Manuel Antonio Park, as far west as the Nicoya Peninsula, and as far north as the port city of Puntarenas.

Continuing along the mountain tops and through the rainforest, you arrive at the second, incredible waterfall of your tour with us - the exciting Pura Vida waterfall. Surrounded by lush rainforest and crested by a natural rock platform, thrill-seeking adventurers may jump over 15 feet down into the crisp, refreshing waterfall pool below. The sounds of rushing water, coupled with the call of exotic birds combine to make this visit to the Pura Vida Falls a truly Costa Rican experience that you will remember for years to come. To end the tour, we ride the loop that takes us right to the edge of the famous Carara National Park, and then begin our decent back to Adventure Tours in Jaco.

5.00This was a blast! We got to do a private tour with just my fiancé and i and had so much fun. Jordan was our guide and he showed us so many different things on our trail like different fruits and pointed out different views we wouldn’t have seen on our own.

5.00Our guide was great and the ATV experience up the mountains was amazing even for me as a beginner. He made me feel comfortable. Going to the waterfall was the best then a stop for a quick bite and drink. Would highly recommend.

5.00This was top 10 days of my life! Jorge led my husband and I up a mountain, to a beautiful waterfall, then to the most amazing soda that overlooked Jàco area. He pointed out plants, spiders and found me two poisonous dart frogs. He was helpful, patient, and enthusiastic. It was our favorite experience by far! Highly recommend! And we will totally repeat this on our return visit! Thank you, Jorge! Pura Vida!

5.00Thie ATV adventure was so much fun! Our 2 tour guides were Amazing. They are first and foremost, Safety Focused, which is Huge on my list of any adventure. The scenery is beautiful. The waterfall, Amazing! Take a swim suit so you an enjoy the water.

4.00Kiko made this tour seamless with on time hotel pickup and drop off. The terrain is some of the craziest I have ever experienced going over big rocks and climbing almost completely vertically. The atvs also go pretty fast. My favorite part was driving through the shallow bank of the river. Wear a bathing suit and bug spray as you won’t want to miss swimming in the gorgeous waterfall at the top of the mountain. The view at the top is spectacular. Kiko also took pictures of us included in the price and used a GoPro to film our journey at an extra cost. The only downside is it takes a week+ to get your photos back and we didn’t really think to take any on our phones bc the pics were included. Kiko also pointed out wildlife along the way like toucans. Would definitely do this tour again.

5.00These two seniors had a blast! We each had our own ATV and even with the rain it was our favorite activity. We felt completely safe, and our guide was great. The waterfall is beautiful and stopping at the little restaurant for a quick bite to eat overlooking the mountain side was icing on the cake.

5.00Absolutely amazing!!! Amazing views, vibes, tour guide!!! 10/10 recommend. Each waterfall was beautiful and even got to swim in one. We could tell our tour guide loved what he does and was very knowledgeable.
