Setting sail from the Marina dock at Los Suenos Resort at 7:45 AM, you’ll be thrilled to know that the journey to Isla Tortuga takes just 45 minutes.
As you approach, prepare to be captivated by the stunning views of the island and the Nicoya Peninsula. Upon arrival, you’ll find a variety of exciting activities to choose from, including snorkeling, a thrilling banana boat ride, hiking, or simply unwinding and soaking in the serene surroundings.

Once you arrive at the island, you’ll have the option to dive into a variety of activities or unwind on the beach while our attentive staff caters to your every need. Your complimentary activities on the island include snorkeling, exhilarating banana boat rides, and scenic nature hikes. For an additional fee, you can also thrill in paddle boarding and kayaking.

5.00Definitely worth the money for the experience! We were picked up on time, enjoyed all of the activities that the island had to offer, and thought the lunch was very good (and perhaps the best we had in Jaco thus far). The only “cons” is that it would’ve been nice to have more time snorkeling, although I understand that it was short to stay on schedule and accommodate for lunch. The alcoholic drinks are also not the best.

5.00The experience was absolutely amazing. Although there were a few hiccups in the beginning, the team at Costa Cat made it right. Red carpet treatment throughout the experience and attention to every detail. The food was great and the beach atmosphere was very relaxing. My wife and I had a blast on the banana boat ride and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend this tour, definitely worth it!

5.00What a great excursion on the Casto Cat! We were at ease the whole day, always prepared for what was next, never rushed. The boat was comfortable, the ride to and from Tortuga enjoyable. The beach area was small and clean, the water clear. Plenty of lounge chairs with umbrella shade available. The jungle juice and margaritas flowed freely, water and soda readily available. Bathrooms right there. We took small boats a short distance for a just-enough snorkel, plenty of beautiful fish to see. The banana boat was a blast. The hike was a little rocky, a couple nice views from modest elevation, saw some wild pigs and a couple of deer. It felt good to get a nice, short hike in. Few folks took the opportunity; hanging out on the beautiful beach was just fine. The lunch was mmmm-so tasty! Wonderfully seasoned chicken, vegetables, rice, potatoes. The stars of the show were the young staffers who were so attentive all day long. Tremendously welcoming, brought a joyful spirit. Top notch all around.

5.00Tortuga Island is a must do. After a long week of adventure, this was a welcomed laid back trip to a nice beach. Some of us napped on the beach while others shoveled, picked, and road the banna boat. The whole crew was great especially Aaron and Bones. They were bringing us drinks in the water and always willing to help out.
