We have the best location on the Nantahala River being located right at the takeout. This means you'll only ride the bus once and you'll finish at your car. After the river, enjoy one of our two restaurants by the river.

The Nantahala River is perfect for first timers and experienced rafters alike. It is perfect for families, couples, and all adventurers. After checking in, you will get geared up, go through a pre-trip safety talk and video and then jump on the bus for short ride to the put-in. Then in it's down the river you go to enjoy the Nantahala's fun and splashy rapids along with the spectacular mountain scenery of the Nantahala River Gorge. The grand finale of the trip is the Class III Nantahala Falls!

5.00I admit I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. All the staff was knowledgeable and clear with their instructions. We enjoyed this experience and plan on doing it again in the future.

5.00Best trip yet!! Fifth time in the last 40 years. Last trip was unguided with our 'tween kids. At 70 & 76 we opted for guided. Robert told us things about the surroundings, took us on a couple of spins around big rocks and didn't loose anyone out the raft. One person needed to check her sugar and eat something to bring it up once. Robert had her kit in the watertight first aid box and simply pulled over when she needed to. We watched the other two rafts attempt a rock spin and off we went. You will get wet so take the optional long sleeve (n/c) top unless it's 90 degrees outside and you want to cool down.

5.00Maddy Best was so great as our guide. She did a great job preparing us for what was to come…. Loudly and clearly explained the safety tips before beginning the trip and again reminded us along the way . She kept us well entertained the entire route. I was very impressed by her knowledge of the river and its incredible history.

5.00We had a great time our guide was a lot of fun made trip so much more enjoyable. We had went on this trip 20 years ago we enjoyed it then but thought it was much better this time.
