5.00This was such a fun way to see Oslo and try some of its signature foods! Plus it got me out of the city center. The neighborhood is very fun and has a lot a good history. Though it's a food-centered tour, there were still a few stops and information on some of the great street art and history of the neighborhood. The tour guide Matthias was very knowledgeable, great at communicating, and responsive to our needs and asks. It was nice to get started with coffee, sodas, and pastries and introduce ourselves to the group. Everything was great from the hot dog, waffles, small bites (cheese, charcuterie, salmon, crab, bread), fish soup, and beers. The fish soup was most amazing! I attended alone as it was a solo trip but everyone in the group was extremely kind and friendly, and the whole experience was definitely a highlight of my time in Oslo. It did go on a little long around 4 hours, so would recommend carving out a big part of your afternoon and early evening for this, but it was well worth it!

5.00Be ready to EAT! Lots of food, but lots of walking (so you balance the food, haha) in a really nice, more laid back section of Oslo. We stopped at places of historical significance and relaxed and ate local food at various venues. It was a good tour.
