LUNCH
Lunch
During this tour, you'll snorkel at one of Galapagos' most spectacular spots, experiencing an incredible underwater world. There will be two snorkeling activities or one long session, starting in calm, shallow waters and then moving to deeper, blue waters teeming with sharks, sea turtles, rays, sea lions, marine iguanas, and more. Additionally, you'll enjoy another snorkeling activity at La Fé Bay. You'll observe marine iguanas, sea lions, sea turtles etc. and, depending on the conditions and the tide, you might also go for a short walk over the lava rocks. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in a short fishing activity (max. 30 minutes, rods will be put behind the boat to troll for a while), with yellowfin tuna being a common catch. Freshly prepared hot lunch or fresh ceviche will be served onboard. In case that we don't find availability for the tour to Pinzón, we might give you a free upgrade to the more expensive tour to Floreana Island (also here on Viator).
LUNCH
Lunch
A very nice lunch menu at the best oceanfront restaurant on Isabela
After sailing to Isabela Island, we'll embark on an excursion to Tintoreras Islet, where we'll search for Galapagos penguins, Nazca blue-footed boobies, and more. We'll enjoy a leisurely walk alongside a channel inhabited by white-tip and black-tip sharks. Finally, we'll delight in snorkeling near the habitats of these species.
Isabela Island Wetlands Complex
A journey from Puerto Villamil to reach the wetlands where we'll encounter the majestic flamingos.
Playa Puerto Villamil
Lunch in one of the best ocean front restaurants.
Centro de Crianza Arnaldo Tupiza
Exploring the breeding centers of the Galapagos National Park, where we'll observe recently hatched land tortoises as well as some that are slightly older.
Puerto Villamil
Transfer from your hotel to the pier to board a speedboat heading to Isabela Island. You will be accompanied during the entire check-in process, and we will make sure you get good seats on the (public) speedboat that runs to Isabela. It is also possible to extend your stay on Isabela and to return on another day, in that case, we highly recommend to add the boat tour to the Marine Lava Tunnel Tour (Cabo Rosa) and we can also help with accommodations on any of the islands.
LUNCH
Lunch
You will get a nice box lunch for today's tour and if you are still hungry, also a second lunch in a local restaurant.
After taking in the views of Sierra Negra, the tour continues on foot with a 1.8 km (1.1 mile) hike to the historic sulfur mines. This trail takes you across otherworldly volcanic terrain, offering a closer look at the raw, active geology of Isabela Island. The sulfur mines, still emitting volcanic gases, were once manually exploited and offer a fascinating glimpse into the island’s natural and human history. Along the way, your guide will explain the region’s volcanic activity, as well as the unique plant and animal life that has adapted to this harsh environment. This part of the tour is ideal for travelers looking to explore a less-visited but geologically rich area of the Galápagos. Finally, We will conclude our journey by returning to the hotel by car.
Santa Cruz
Transfer from your hotel to the pier to board a speedboat heading to Santa Cruz Island. It is also possible to extend your stay on Isabela and to return on another day, in that case, we highly recommend to add the boat tour to the Marine Lava Tunnel Tour (Cabo Rosa) and we can also help with accommodations on any of the islands.
Sierra Negra
Your tour begins with hotel pickup followed by a drive up to the Galápagos National Park checkpoint, located at 800 meters above sea level. From there, you’ll continue by car to one of the best viewpoints of the impressive Sierra Negra Crater. With a diameter of over 9 kilometers, Sierra Negra is one of the largest volcanic calderas in the world and remains one of the most active volcanoes in the Galápagos. From the viewpoint (if it is hopefully not too cloudy) you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the vast crater floor and recent lava fields, while your guide explains the area's volcanic history and unique ecology and while you get more than sufficient opportunies to take great photos.

I just returned from an unforgettable 4-day, 3-night tour of the Galápagos Islands, and I can honestly say it was one of the best travel experiences of my life! In addition to the tour package, Guiding Galapagos helped arrange a great hotel right on the beach for a very fair price - the perfect place to relax after long, adventure-filled days. That said, I spent most of my time out exploring, which is exactly what I wanted. With only 4 days in the islands, I chose this tour based on its excellent reviews if this company and the fact that it’s run by locals living in Galapagos - and I’m so glad I did! Each day was packed with activities, and yet it never felt rushed. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed to let us see and do a lot in a short time. We walked through stunning natural landscapes and got to snorkel in amazing spots, all while surrounded by the most incredible wildlife. What made it even more special was doing all this alongside expert local guides who knew everything about the animals, the islands, and how to respectfully interact with nature. It truly felt like being inside a nature documentary - sea lions swimming next to us, marine iguanas sunbathing just steps away, and colorful fish all around. If you only have a few days and want to see as much as possible while being guided by passionate locals who deeply respect and understand their home, this is the perfect tour. Highly, highly recommend!

Spending 4 days in the Galápagos was nothing short of magical, and this trip exceeded all expectations from start to finish. The team at Guiding Galápagos went above and beyond to organise a seamless itinerary. I was mostly out exploring, which is exactly how I wanted it. Every day was full of discovery, yet somehow still felt relaxed and unrushed. We visited a wide variety of landscapes — from lava fields to pristine bays — and had plenty of opportunities to swim, hike, and spot wildlife. I was constantly amazed by how close we got to animals I’d only ever seen in documentaries. Picture snorkeling with sea turtles, watching pelicans dive for fish, and seeing marine iguanas laze in the sun just a few feet away. What really made the trip special was the insight and passion of our local guides. They shared stories, history, and ecological facts that made each stop feel meaningful. It wasn’t just sightseeing — it felt like learning from people who genuinely love and protect these islands. If you’re looking for a well-organized, enriching experience that fits a lot into a few days without feeling hectic, I can’t recommend „Guiding Galápagos“ enough. This trip will stay with me forever.

Guiding Galapagos took care of everything with incredible attention to detail. The boats were comfortable and well-equipped, the local guides were super knowledgeable and friendly, and the snorkeling gear - including long wetsuits - was high quality and essential for the cooler waters. Lunches were served at a beautiful beachside restaurant or on board, and the personalized support throughout made the whole experience smooth and unforgettable. Highly recommended for making the most of a short stay!
