  Romeo was a great tour guide. I was a little concerned about the paddle across the channel with the high winds today but it turned out to be fine. Romeo took good care of us and explained things clearly. Saw some turtles and a lemon shark. It was a good time. Would recommend and do again on our next trip.

  The tour operator cancelled this tour because they did not have the minimum number of people required. They offered the 2 hour tour of the mangroves, but not the iguana island. We accepted and I'm sorry we did. First, their jet ski, which was supposed to get us across to the mangroves, would not go in reverse. They then told us we would have to travel by ourselves to the mangroves, but that was impossible as the waves kept pushing us back. We had to wait over a half hour for them to borrow another jet ski to take us across. Second, when getting into the clear kayak, the seating was minimal - think stadium seating when you sit in bleachers. They were attached to the sides of the clear kayak. The back of my seating was adjusted twice and again by my husband, but it never held, so I was paddling leaning backwards. I found out later that the webbing that attached my husband's seating broke from the kayak, so he had no support at all. Third, we told them we were inexperienced kayakers right at the beginning, but apparently that didn't matter, because during the tour the rest of the group (who must have been experienced), were pretty far ahead of us. The tour guide didn't keep an eye out for us. Fourth, the tour guide told us not to put our hands in the water or touch any animals we come across so as not to disturb them. However, at one point he got out of the kayak and using his paddle, kept swirling it around a sand shark so we could all see it. I liked seeing it, but it didn't seem like something you should do. Also, other groups were in the mangroves and they were standing in the mangroves. Don't go on their tours, especially if you've never kayaked before. Apparently they don't take care of their equipment.

  I was a little hesitant to book this trip because it seemed expensive, but I’m glad I did as it was a highlight of my vacation. I loved seeing the turtles and iguanas. The clear blue water is beautiful. This is a relaxing tour. They tow you with a jet ski across to the islands, so you just paddle through the mangroves. The guides are helpful and friendly.

  I think the other tours tow you out, or most do anyway. It’s not that I mind the kayaking, that is what we signed up for, but this means we all had to kayak across a busy canal with large boats, jet skis, etc crossing us. Our tour guide was DJ, and he was knowledgeable and nice but dang, he paddled off without us and about 3 other kayaks. I thought the other tour guides were better about keeping a group together. Once they went into the mangrove without us and let another tour group get between us. We did see a few turtles, a shark, a jellyfish.

  It is listed as three hours but it is barely 2 hours. You see a couple of Iguana. They are fairly small. After that we saw a few turtles and no sharks. The guide was not good in giving the tour wither. It is very expensive for the experience.

  We had a fantastic time kayaking through the Mangroves!! Our tour guide, Joe, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and so incredibly patient! The pace was so relaxed, the views were incredible, and communication was as clear as the water ;) Would recommend this tour to anyone heading to Turks! We went for my partners birthday and this was the highlight

  One of the best experiences ever! Our guide, Gene, was so knowledgeable. We saw so many turtles, iguanas, sharks, bonefish, barracuda and a sting ray!

  Joe and Gean were the best, they made sure the kids all had an amazing time. They made sure we saw turtles, baby sharks, iguanas, stingrays and jelly fish. Would do it again in an instant thanks for the amazing day!

  We did the 3hr Iguana and Turtle Tour as a group of 4 adults & had an amazing time. The small group made it feel personal and relaxed. Our guide was super friendly and full of great info. We we were pulled by boat in our kayaks to the iguana island, saw some iguanas hanging out, then swam in the most beautiful turquoise water. Kayaking through the mangroves was our favorite part; turtles were everywhere, swimming all around us. The clear bottom kayaks were such a cool touch & we even spotted a little yellow shark right underneath us. We also got to see a live conch & hear all about it. The whole tour flew by & we’d absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for a fun, unique adventure.
