We like to call this our best value tour since you get a whole lot of bang for your buck! On this safari tour, you will be observing the Big 5 (lion, leopard, Cape Buffalo, rhino and elephant) as well as a host of antelope, birdlife and amphibians, and be inspired by an authentically African atmosphere in the largest game reserve in South Africa. Kruger National Park is larger than some small countries in Europe and is just less than two million hectares of conservation area.
Add to this a full day tour of the Panorama Route which includes, amongst others, the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Lisbon and Berlin Falls. Perfection!
On this Safari, you will enjoy comfortable accommodation in a private lodge, awesome game drives and beautiful scenery. Because of the well-trained guides, we are proud to offer an 80% Big 5 success rate on our game drives. All guides are FGASA (Field Guides Association of SA) registered.
Your base will be a lodge just outside Hazyview.

This safari departs daily from Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. You need to be at the OR Tambo bus terminal by 06:30AM. The shuttle departs no later than 07:00AM. There will be two comfort stops along the way. You will also be able to buy snacks and refreshments and visit restrooms during these comfort stops. There will be a brief change-over of vehicles at Nelspruit, where you will travel in a smaller vehicle to the lodge about one hour away. After check-in you will have time relax and freshen up before boarding an open sided 4×4 game drive vehicle for an afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park, starting at 15h30. The lodge is about 15 – 20 minutes’ drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate. After your safari game drive, you return to the lodge where you can unwind and relax before dinner served at 19:00PM in the restaurant area. Included: Transfer from Johannesburg, Afternoon Game Drive, Dinner Excluded: All Other Meals (while in transit)

This morning you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open sided land cruisers. The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants. (own account). After lunch, we start the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park. During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After our tour, we’ll make our way to back to our lodge or camp.

Panorama Route
Today you will go on a tour of the Panorama Route. You depart on this 8-hour scenic excursion just after a scrumptious full course breakfast. Scenic stops along the Panorama Route include: - God’s Window - The Pinnacle - Bourke’s Luck Potholes - Blyde River Canyon - Wonderview - Three Rondawels - Graskop & Pilgrim’s Rest At least 1 of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, Lone Creek Falls. (Depends on the time of year and rainfall) Lunch at Harries pancakes at own cost. You return to camp around 4 pm.
Day 4: Last day: Return to Johannesburg (Optional Morning Game Drive)

This morning you have a choice between another morning game drive or relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the great facilities it offers. Should you choose to stay at the lodge, you can enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast at the restaurant. If you join us on the morning safari, a picnic-style breakfast will be served at one of the picnic spots in the park. The morning game drive is entirely optional and for own account (paid at the lodge). It is a great way to spend your last morning on tour if you feel the need to see wild animals one last time. Optional Morning Game Drive @ approximately ZAR1150.00 per person You will be picked up at the lodge (from reception) at about 11h00 for your return to Johannesburg with the shuttle. Drop off at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport will be around 17:30PM. Please do not book a flight for earlier than 19:30PM to allow enough time for airport procedures. This is the end of your Kruger National Park Safari. • is entirely optional and up to your own discretion

5.00I am so glad we went through Mzansi.!!!! We absolutely loved our time in Kruger and Panorama Route tour! We saw so many animals: elephants, zebras, lions, buffalo, giraffes, leopard, warthogs, hippos, and more! Dream come true! The lodge was beautiful and so serene. We had some glam-tents which had AC, lights, plumbing…it was awesome (but if you wanted, you could upgrade). The food was amazing and the staff were the greatest. We arranged this tour with a round trip transfer from Joburg provided by this tour. We went on the bus and it was all smooth ride (slept most of the way) and when arriving, we were provided with lunch by the tour and we had a couple of hours to relax before going on our evening safari which in just 2 hours, we saw SO MANY animals! The following day, we had a full day safari which left us so breathless, happy, and smiling non-stop. On day three, we had a full day going about the Panorama Route which was gorgeous. The last day, you had an optional morning safari (I think about 1200-1300 ZAR per person) which a lot of others did, but we were on a tight budget and we were so incredibly happy with our safari experience already that we opted out…but if you have time and money, do it! Due to that, our shuttle ride back to Joburg was for 9 AM (and the others were for later - I believe around 11 AM or 12 PM). Ti be honest, there was some miscommunication by the lodge staff that our shuttle was for 12 PM and when coming for breakfast, they told us that our shuttle was waiting for us and we had to run to our tents and pack up as quickly as possibly. BUT I am grateful that they were willing to hold the bus for us and even have us a breakfast to-go box. The staff apologized so much for the mix-up, but heyC things happen and we made it to the shuttle with no problems! Suggestions: You may have different guides for each day, so make sure to take some rands to have off-hand to give tips at the end of each day. Also, they don’t have the two-hole outlet (it is the one with 3) and they may not have adapters off-hand…so be prepared with the correct adapter. The staff at the lodge helped us borrow one, but worst case scenario, there are some stores nearby where I believe you could find them. Something else I loved about Mzansi is they really communicate well and care about you. We actually had a crazy storm one night and they reached out to us to let us know information and to make sure we were all good (which we were! The storm itself was an adventure!) SO HAPPY WITH THIS TOUR!!! Thank you!!!

5.00I had an excellent time on my 4 day Kruger tour. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. All the staff was very kind and my tour guide, Lucky, was incredible. He knew the land well and the animal behavior, so we were able to track down everything I wanted to see. We saw all the Big 5! This was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I cannot recommend it enough!
