Day 1: Bucharest - Sinaia - Brasov Peles Castle: Located in Sinaia (approx. 44 km from Brasov), it is considered by many, to be one of the most beautiful castles in all of Europe. Against the natural back drop of the Carpathian Mountains, the castle is a masterpiece of German Renaissance architecture. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of Brasov medieval town. The highlights include, the Black Church, Citadel of Brasov, Ecaterina's Gate, White Tower, Black Tower, The Blacksmiths Bastion, The Weavers Bastion, The Ropemakers Bastion, The Drapers Bastion. Overnight: Hotel Bella Muzica 3* or similar Day 2: Brasov - Bran - Sibiu The first stop of the day will be Bran, where you will visit the Castle of Dracula. The castle has an aura of mystery and legend and is perched atop a 200-foot-high rock. Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth created from Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Sibiu - This fortress town is pedestrian-friendly with two easily accessible levels: the Upper town, home to Sibiu's historic sites and the Lower town lined with colourful houses on cobblestone streets and surrounded by imposing city walls and defence towers which overlook the river Cibin. The highlights of the tour include: the Evangelical Church, The Bridge of Lies, Historical Center, The Stairs Passage, Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, Brukenthal Museum, the Towers and Bastions. Overnight: Hotel Levoslav 4* in Sibiu or similar Day 3. Sibiu - Biertan (UNESCO site) - Sighisoara (UNESCO site) The Fortified Church of Biertan - The architectonic ensemble from Biertan is an impressive site for it's location, as well as its aesthetic and historic value. It has been preserved since the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century, and is included in The UNESCO List of World Patrimony. Sighisoara is one of the few inhabited fortified towns in the world and it provides a splendid example of medieval town planning. Here, all the elements of the medieval world have been perfectly preserved. The highlights of the tour include: The Clock Tower & History Museum, The Church on the Hill, House of Dracula, The pupils roofed stairways, German cemetery. Overnight: Hotel Cavaler 4* in Sighisoara or similar Day 4. Sighisoara - Prejmer (UNESCO site) - Harman - Bucharest The Fortified Church of Prejmer - This is one of Eastern Europe’s best preserved fortified churches and lies approximately 16km North East of Brasov. Surrounding the cross-shaped church (originally built by the Teutonic knights) are walls 12m high and 4m thick that protected the church and Prejmer’s inhabitants during times of war. The Fortified church of Harman - it is bit smaller than Prejmer fortress but matches it in charm and architectural value.

5.00We had a good time with Christian. We really felt like we saw Transylvania in depth with great experiences. Good pace to the trip, not too much in each day.

5.00My wife and I just finished this tour. Gabriel was our private driver and guide .He did a great job of explaining all the information on all the sites we visited. Since we were a group of two he was able to take his time telling the story of each site. We were never rushed and it was nice to be given a private tour instead of being in a large group. We were very comfortable with Gabriel's driving and his meal recommendations were great. The hotels were in walking distance to the city center and all the restaurants. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00The four days gave you a great insight into history of the area plus the scenery was spectacular. The towns were very alive with locals, families and tourists. Our guides recommended the best places to eat and they were great serving the local food and drinks. This tour is a most to get out of the big cities and taste the local life.

5.00Cristian was my tour guide for this tour. I saw so much and had plenty of time to explore on my own in each town. Cristian was great. Always on time, very knowledgeable and became a friend during my tour. This was my first private tour going solo and he made me feel comfortable. Offered to make stops along the way for pictures and knew great spots for pictures. Never made me feel uncomfortable asking questions. I highly recommend Cristian as a tour guide.

5.00The amazing Diana helped me set our tour up via email from Australia and was just a dream to deal with - it was very obvious from our first correspondence that we were with the right company. We were collected from the airport by Christian who never seems to have a bad day, has endless energy and enthusiasm for his stunning home, and is knowledgable and fun to be around. We had an absolute blast. All accommodation was top rate, meal suggestions fantastic, and the sights and places we visited the stuff of dreams. It was facinating, engaging, and desperately sad to leave. We did also get to meet Diana for our last day in Bucharest when she showed us some of her home town prior to being taken back to the airport. What a wonderful young lady who really knows her stuff. Going to Romania (and you most certainly should be) then dont go past a tour with UnzipRomania. Thanks to our new friends for making this dream a reality and a very special one at that! xx

5.00We wanted to visit some off-the-beaten track locations. Unzip Romania designed a tour that included our must-see sites as well as their recommendations for best places to visit. It was GREAT! The winery tour they included for us (Lacerta) was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Gabriel, was knowledgeable on all locations and his recommendations for things to see were spot on. The ability to make unscheduled, spur of the moment stops is a real plus of a private tour. At the popular tourist stops such as Peles Castle, which is definitely worth visiting, Gabriel was able to take us through at our own pace and avoided many of the crowds. I highly recommend Unzip Romania for a satisfying and enjoyable travel experience.

It was a facinating itinerary, that it would have been impossible not to enjoy, but we were in the hands of an absolute professional and Gabriel's attension to detail and calm efficiency, was second to none. We could not have asked for a more knowlagable guide for our introduction to Romania. 5.00My wife and I just took the 4 day tour of Transylania. We highly recommend this tour if you have the time. We have traveled all over Europe and we both agree this is the best tour ever. We now have a new understanding of Romainia, it’s people and it’s history. All the UNESCO sites we visited are incredible with history going back to the 14th century. Cristain, our guide was exceptionally great! He was very knowledgeable and took care of everything for us. He helped my wife get around with her bad knee so I was able to take pictures of the castles and fortresses that we visited. He also took care of everything for us, recommending restaurants and food items off the menu. The food is great, and if you love sausage, you came to the right place. We can’t say enough about UnzipRomania other than if you are going to visit here, book a tour with them, you’ll love it!

5.00We found UnzipRomania Tours through Google and feel very blessed that we did. Diana was very efficient and responsive to the our needs and inquiries. The pre-tour and booking process was very smooth. In addition the Romania information provided prior to our journey was very helpful. Gabriel, our tour guide drove us through the mountains,hillsides, medieval villages and cities of Transylvania. Gabriel’s knowledge of the history, customs, and culture of Transylvania was exceptional. He made the trip entertaining as well as a learning experience. We have a new appreciation for Transylvania and Romania. The sites especially the Peles Castle and the medieval fortress of Sighişoara are highlights of this tour. We returned to Bucharest with so many fond memories and with a hug we said goodbye to our new friend, Gabriel. If you are considering a Transylvania visit, do not hesitate to take this one and if your lucky enough to have Gabriel as your guide give him our best regards.

5.00Diana and Christian customized our five day private tour to make sure that we had the most amazing time. At every step of the way, she made sure to make the tour interesting, easy, and exactly what we were looking for. We had such a fantastic time, saw so many wonderful things, ate great food, and had wonderful accommodations ... all customized for EXACTLY what we wanted. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you want the best possible travel experience, they will make sure you have it! Everything about it was perfect!
