Your Cusco to Manu tour begins bright and early, with a departure from your hotel in Cusco. We’ll handle all the transportation, and you’ll travel comfortably as we make our way towards the charming town of Paucartambo.
Paucartambo
Upon arrival in Paucartambo, we’ll stop for a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead. From there, we’ll continue our journey, climbing to the Acjanaco mountain pass, where you’ll be treated to an incredible panoramic view of the vast Amazon Rainforest stretching out below—your first breathtaking sight of the tour. As we proceed, we’ll enter the Manu Cloud Forest, a lush and mystical environment where we’ll pause to try and spot the elusive cock-of-the-rock, Peru’s national bird. Along the way, we might also encounter other fascinating species like capuchin monkeys, colorful parrots, and more.
Our journey then takes us further into the Manu Jungle as we descend towards Atalaya, situated along the banks of the Alto Madre de Dios River. We’ll arrive around noon and enjoy a relaxing lunch by the river.

After lunch, we'll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the diverse flora and fauna of the region. By late afternoon, we'll arrive at the TREEHOUSE INN, a unique and tranquil lodge nestled in the heart of the jungle. Once settled in, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge. As night falls, we'll embark on an exhilarating night walk, exploring the jungle in search of its nocturnal inhabitants. It's the perfect way to conclude your first day in Manu, with the sights and sounds of the jungle coming to life around you, creating an unforgettable experience.

On our second day, we’ll start early to visit the nearby Macaw Clay Licks. After a 20-minute walk, you’ll witness a stunning display of various birds gathering at the clay licks. Afterward, we’ll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Next, we’ll embark on a two and a half-hour jungle walk, delving into Manu’s rich flora and fauna. Our guide will introduce you to medicinal plants, and we may encounter larger animals like tapirs. Lunch will be served back at the lodge, followed by some downtime to relax during the hottest part of the day. As evening falls, we’ll take a night walk around Caiman Lake to spot nocturnal wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner. You’ll spend the night at the TREEHOUSE INN, nestled in the heart of the jungle.

We'll start the day with a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the adventures ahead. Afterward, we'll set out on a three-hour walk through a private reserve, an ideal setting for spotting wildlife. What makes this experience truly unique is the small mountain nestled within the rainforest. You'll have the opportunity to climb it and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle. After descending from the mountain, we'll return to the TREEHOUSE INN, where a delicious lunch made with local ingredients awaits. Following a restful nap, we'll set out in search of howler monkeys along the shores. Finally we'll return to the lodge for dinner. If you're up for more adventure, you'll have the option to join another night walk in the Manu Jungle, exploring the nocturnal wonders of the rainforest.

On the final day of our Cusco to Manu Tour, we'll begin with a hearty breakfast at the TREEHOUSE INN, savoring one last taste of the Amazon's unique flavors. Afterward, we'll make our way back to Atalaya, providing you with a final opportunity to soak in the sights of the Manu Amazon, and cherish the last glimpses of this incredible journey.

Once we reach Atalaya, a private transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco. As we journey through the changing landscapes, you’ll have time to reflect on the incredible experiences we’ve shared in Manu.

5.00Our trip with Jungle Adventures Peru was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed by our amazing guides, Jasmany and Saul. They were not only friendly and hospitable but also incredibly knowledgeable about the jungle, its plants, insects, and wildlife. Their passion for the Amazon made the experience even more special. The food was delicious and varied, and the treehouse accommodations were comfortable, equipped with mosquito nets, a bathroom, and a shower. We had a great mix of activities and could even customize parts of our itinerary. From night walks and river tubing to fishing, bonfires, and wildlife spotting, every day was filled with adventure and excitement. If you’re looking for an authentic and immersive experience in Manu National Park and the Amazon jungle, this is the perfect tour! You get so much value for your money, and I highly recommend it!

5.00The whole trip was amazing. Saul and Jasmany did a very good job! They were so kind from the very first second! Their knowledge about both, wildlife, nature and the native people were incredible. They were also very open to any kinds of questions! The accommodation in the treehouse was also amazing with the panoramic view over the river. The personal cook provided very delicious food for us. Both classic Peruvian food, but also traditional food from the native people of the jungle, which was very interesting to try as well. We were 7 girls and Jasmany and Saul were so good at including all of us in the daily program and activities. I would highly recommend Jungle Adventures Peru. We had the best 4 days!!

5.00We were 7 girls on a private tour with Saul and Jasmany and it was honestly such a good experience! They were so sweet from beginning to end, had planned many different activies with both action such as water tubing and walks through the jungle with a lot of information about the nature, animals and the natives. Besides the varaity they were really flexible and thought about the weather conditions so we could get the most out of the days and see as many animals as possible. Also the information beforehand, the time schedule and the chances of seeing animals were really clear, so we all the time were really safe and knew what to expect. I can highly recommend Jungle Adventure!

5.00An Amazon jungle adventure I HIGHLY recommend. We (7 friends) went on a 4-day jungle adventure with the amazing guides Jasmany and Saul who are both very intelligent and have a great knowledge of the jungle. They showed us many different plants, animals and places in the jungle including a jaguar, many monkeys, parrots, tarantulas and more - all of it we would have been able to see without there knowledge. The food and accommodation were also great, we were provided with 3 meals and 2 snacks every day and of course plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. They made a great deal of serving Peruvian Jungle food and were so kind to adjust the food to fit our group’s allergies. The accommodation was very clean and cozy, all of us slept wonderful - could not have wished for anything better! Last I wanted to point out the welcoming guides and their family. All of Saul and Jasmany’s family made a great deal of including us in their upbringing and were so kind to answer all the questions we had about growing up in the Amazon! I would definitely recommend to book your next jungle adventure with Jungle Adventure Peru!!!!!

5.00I had an amazing experience in the jungle with “Jungle Adventures Peru”. Our guides Jasmany and Saul were really friendly and welcoming. They knew a lot about the jungle, the animal’s and the nature. You got facts along the way throughout the trip, and you could ask all the questions you wanted. There was a good distribution of the different activities over the days. Highly recommend this trip

5.00Saul and Jasmany did a great job throughout the whole trip and did everything to ensure our safety. We did all the activities in the 4D/3N Manu park tour. Saul and Jasmany did everything to show us the different animals. They were great at explaining differences between the species of animals. The food was delicious, and allergy friendly.

5.00Fantastic experience! The guides Jasmany and Saul were super competent, passionate and had a great knowledge of everything from flora, fauna and the indigenous people of Manu National Park. In addition, the chef was eminent, and was very skilled at taking special diets into account. Finally, the wooden cabins and other facilities were super fine. We felt very welcome and safe - warm recommendation from here 😊

5.00Amazing experience in the Manu national park, this agency take care of you during the trip. Our guide Saul was so knowledgeable and friendly. The reservation process was simple and quick. The food served by the cook accompanying us on the trip was also very delicious. The Manu national park is a wonderful place, where you can admire tapirs, hummingbirds, butterflies of all kinds, monkeys, parrots and the famous coco of the rocks and you can also do rafting. This is a highly recommended tour company for those who want to see the safe and authentic Amazon!
