This 4 Days Serengeti, Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater Safari Tour will take you through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania. Primarily, you will be visiting Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
A visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is an experience of a lifetime. There are few places that have wildlife densities and variety at this level. It is not unusual to see the Big Five in one day-and all this in the most amazing setting with a backdrop of the 600m/1968ft high crater wall.
Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.
There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. A full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded,

The drive from Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park takes about 4 hours. After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others.

The drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro conservation area takes 3 to 4 hours. Serengeti is also the home of Olduvai Gorge which is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. You will have a game drive in Serengeti from afternoon to late evening. Then, in the late evening drive to and overnight at the Serengeti Seronera Wildlife Camp or lodge - full board.

After breakfast, venture into the Serengetis wilderness corners for a half day of game viewing in the park. Take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earths largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the late afternoon, drive back to SIMBA campsites or Rhino Lodge on the Ngorongoro crater rim for rest, dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the late afternoon drive to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure or Alternatively Moshi in your hotel.

5.00A great safari for the family. Was perfectly organized as everything flowed perfectly like clockwork. I mainly did this for the kids because they have been asking lots of questions about the great wildebeest migration and we wanted to gift it to them. We are happy that guide Baraka did not disappoint as we came to sites with the huge wildebeest herds an it was magical. We saw many other different animals and also went on a cultural tour to Lake Eyasi where we met the Hadxabe Bushmen. We enjoyed staying in Lodges for the excellent service and great food. Tanzania is really beautiful and I am happy that I have enjoyed a great trip from Kilisa Tours & Safaris.

5.00From the onset Naick and his team were really great. They handled the booking process with professionalism and passion. They were all genuinely concerned with giving us an amazing time and were not just focused on making money from us. We became very close with our guide Casper and fell in love with way he handled the trip. He was with us for the entire 4 days and he is really good. The parks were all nice, they have similar animals but each place is unique and different in its own way. We saw lions in trees, in Manyara, which is quite odd, the herds of wildebeest were mammoth size in Serengeti, the open plains that stretched for miles and the overhead hot air balloon ride was so cool. Ngorongoro is postcard beautiful and there was so much to see at every turn. I really appreciate the attention to detail paid by our trip organizers because they made it all special. They ensured that we had the best lodges with great food in amazing locations. Thank you all for the time of our lives.

5.00We planned this trip with Naick the Director Kilisa Tours & Safaris. He was readily available to answer our numerous questions about the different options, requirements..... and after lots of back and forth we chose this package and a couple of other activities. The actual trip was splendid, Baraka is an incredible guide and also drove the safari vehicle carefully. We were lucky to see all the big 5 and lots of other animals. Some of the highlights from this trip was catching the live lions bring down a buffalo quite close to our jeep. This was amazing!! We also encountered the wildebeest migration in Serengeti and enjoyed the hot air balloon ride over the grassland. We stayed in three excellent places and our favourite place was the Entamanu Lodge in Ngorongoro. We are so happy with overall safari tour and happily recommend this company and guide.

5.00Our safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti with Kilisa Tours and Safaris for exceeded all our expectations in every way. We were impressed by the high standards set right from our pickup at the airport, during the trip to the good byes. Nothing was left to chance as every detail had been well planned for. The four of us were driven by Said and he made the trip enjoyable with his charming and easy going personality coupled with his good English and deep knowledge of the parks, animals and everything about Tanzania. Many a times he seemed to know where to find the animals and he rarely missed. He could also identify the animals from great distances with his sharp eyes. We were happy to have such a person with our family as he was respectful and courteous at all times. We were very impressed by the sights in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We managed to see many different animals including some close encounters with cheetahs, lions, elephants, hyenas and huge wildebeest & zebra herds migrating southwards from a hot air balloon. Naick's choice of camps and lodges was fabulous. We really enjoyed ourselves as we were pampered in these fine resorts. I would do anything to spend another Christmas on tour with Kilisa Tours and Safaris. They made it awesome

5.00What an amazing 7 days expedition we had with Kilisa!!!!!! Enjoyed every minute of it. The hike to Mandara hut was outstanding. Guidance of Bakari and Nixon helped us get to the top even though we started hiking a bit late. All along they were patient and kept pouring out all the knowledge they had and encouraged us to ask questions as well as climb “pole pole “( slowly, slowly). On the Safari, Beatus kept us entertained. His eyes in locating the animals as well as his skill of taking pics thru binoculars was amazing. The accommodations for four nights during the safari was GREAT. It was like an Oasis in desert!!!!!! The meals were well thought of. Naick, the big boss is perfect in his own place…… what fun memory we made on the very first day 🙈 we met in person. He was prompt in replying any of the queries we had before we reached Tanzania. He made us comfortable in leaving our extra luggage at his office when we went on safari. Last but not least the pick up and drop off by Juliana was awesome. She made us feel at home by talking all about Shahrukh Khan and playing Bollywood music. Thank you Kilisa for helping us make great memories and put a smile on our faces every time we would look at the pics. ❤️
