  Khalil the guide was very helpful and patient with me on the tour and took me on a great trip around Muscat showing me the top places despite some places being closed off he was able to find different opportunities and give me good advice for the rest of the trip.

  Saif is a competent and well informed Guide/driver. He has good English and takes the trouble to explain the background to the various sites visited. I have engaged him for further tour tomorrow.

  We had an amazing evening with the insightful and friendly Hamood. Cannot recommend him enough not only his relaxed informative manner but also the way he interacted with our 5 year old daughter. The Grand Mosque was stunning and be at the Mosque and Corniche at sunset was beautiful, the time at each place was brilliant when you have a 5 year olds attention span in the group and there was plenty of lovely photo opportunities.   This is a perfect excursion to take a closer look at Muscat's architectural and historic wonders. Said collected us on time from our hotel and drove nicey in his v. clean 4x4 from site to site. Being a local he knew so much about the history of the city and was v. happy answering questions. Best of all, Said was well known at the souk so we weren't heavily pestered by the stallholders!   We had an afternoon trip around the city. We visited the mosque from outside, opera house inside, approached the Sultan palace and drove to old Muscat. Mohammed was very polite and helpful, stopped for good views, took photos for us. Thank you!

  Our guide, Said, was exemplary. He was very informative and kept things interesting throughout. He guided us around Muscats most famous sites.

  Said was a wonderful guide! It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend this tour and visiting Oman!! I have been coming here for years on business, but this is the first time I have taken some time out to experience Muscat. Said accommodated all our needs and then some, you can't go wrong with this company, and Said was a great host:)

  Much covered in tour….was to go for 4 hours but mine went for 5 hours … very generous. If you have only a short time in Muscat I highly recommend going on this tour & using this company. My guide Hamood was reliable, caring, adaptable, very knowledgeable & had great communication skills. Thankyou Hamood & Star Tours.
