A local guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park plus the famous Somes Sound and Asticou Gardens!

We will pick you up and we’ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard. From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands.

See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including Cadillac Mountain, Rockefeller’s stone bridges & Carriage House, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center. See Sand Beach surrounded by the famous pink granite coastline.

We will continue out of the park to see the summer colony of Northeast Harbor and stroll through the famous Asticou Gardens. See gorgeous harbors, yachts and picnic boats.

We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to explore on your own.

My husband and I took the 4-hour private tour through Acadia National Park, and highly recommend it! We had a wonderful time. Dana was our guide, and she was exceptionally knowledgeable. She had water and snacks, and taught us all about the park’s (and Maine’s) wildlife, plants, and history while taking us to the most beautiful places in the park. She also had helpful tips about the best bathrooms to use at our stops, which was very helpful! It was very nice to have such an educational and curated trip planned out and guided for us, especially since I unfortunately didn’t have much time to research the park and timed entry needs, etc. beforehand. Bottom line -the best way to see this gorgeous park is on a private tour with Dana!

Jeff was a great host with lots of knowledge to share during the tour. We really enjoyed it! It was our first day in bar harbor and gave us a great overview of not only Acadia NP but the area in general.

The beauty of Acadia NP at each viewpoint was incredible. We got to make many stops and take short walks on trails, and on a beach, and at the Wild Gardens. I loved it all, especially due to the fall foliage in full display while we were there. The guide gave us so much great information about the history, culture, and area. Jeff was an excellent driver-guide.

Our guide, Jeff was great. Had great stories and insight on Acadia as well as other places in Maine that we would never have known had we not taken the tour. We saw such beauty, and enjoyed the experience immensely. Afterwards, my family went to Bar Harbor to enjoy a gorgeous fall day, because of Jeff’s recommendations. Wonderful day!
