Pete was the best guide! He was so personable with us all and had so much expertise and knowledge of the history of the areas we toured along with the entire island. This tour allowed for flexibility with spending more time in one place vs another…and we especially loved Cadillac mountain and the spectacular views & spent a little extra time there. Our kids especially loved the nice clean car and delicious snacks and cold waters Pete had for us. We toured with Pete on the 4th of July and he was anticipating one of the busiest days of the yr and he planned our stops flawlessly so we hardly noticed the crowds! If you only have 1-2 days in this area I highly recommend seeing Acadia this way and hiring Pete! Bonus for us was he was also extremely knowledgeable about the entire coast of Maine which we happened to be touring after our stay in Bar Harbor & he gave us excellent recommendations for those stops as well. This was so well worth the time and money and so glad we did this tour!
