Following pick-up at your place, come aboard your comfortable vehicle. Make a stop at the popular Ibirapuera Park, admire the huge green space and take that famous photo at the iconic monument symbol of São Paulo.
Climb up to the terrace of the MAC Museum and enjoy a unique panoramic view of the city. Then we drive along the iconic May 23 ave. towards the Japanese neighborhood. Afterward, stop at the Sé Cathedral and continue on getting across the downtown passing by several historical buildings with a break at the Municipal Market. We then pass by the multicultural Paulista Ave, the Jardins neighborhood, Oscar Freire St with a stop at the Batman’s alley full of colorful graffitis.

Visit the Ibirapuera Park that was elected by the “The Guardian magazine” the best Park in the world. The Park is must-see for those who want to be enchanted by the beauty of its lake and water fountain. The park also has 3 outstanding art museums MAC, MAM and Afro-Brazil museum with their great art that played a big role on the deserved winning election of the park.
Monument to the Bandeiras
Anyone visiting the Ibirapuera Park cannot miss this monument in honor of the early settlers, which is one of the most famous postal cards in São Paulo.

5.00Here’s a more formal, expanded version that complements the first review while clearly distinguishing the modern focus of the second tour: --- Following the success of the first tour, I booked a second day with a more modern focus in order to experience another essential side of São Paulo. I wanted to better understand how the contemporary city evolved, and I was not disappointed. I was fortunate to have Danilo as my guide again, and this time we explored the city primarily by car. His knowledge of São Paulo is extensive, and it is clear that he takes great pride in sharing the history and evolution of his home city. What stood out in particular was his ability to connect themes from the previous day’s tour to the modern landscape, creating a coherent narrative across both experiences. Danilo provided excellent insight into modern and Brutalist architecture, explaining its origins, significance, and evolution within the Brazilian context. This added real depth to the experience and helped frame the striking buildings we visited not just visually, but historically and socially as well. I saw some truly impressive examples of modern architecture and gained a much stronger appreciation for their place in São Paulo’s identity. One of the highlights of the day was visiting the campus of University of São Paulo*and the adjoining art and cultural spaces. The scale and quality of the architecture and galleries were impressive, and it is somewhere I plan to return to independently to explore in more depth. We ended the day at Batman Alley, which was another highlight in a completely different register. The energy, creativity, and constant evolution of the street art made it a fitting conclusion to a tour focused on the modern city. I also plan to return there to spend more time exploring the individual artists’ spaces. Overall, this second tour was an excellent complement to the first—thoughtfully structured, informative, and engaging. Together, the two experiences provided a well-rounded and deeply rewarding understanding of São Paulo, from its historical foundations to its modern architectural and cultural expression.

5.00This trip provided a great overview of the city. My guide Nelio (Marinelio) was super friendly and knowledgeable. I had some schedule constraints and he was very accommodating. The organization communicated logistics well and followed through. Overall, A+.

5.00Pedro was our guide who took us to Cotopaxi. We took the north entrance which was very scenic. All along the drive. Pedro pointed out the highlights of the city and history and notable sites. He is very well informed. Good English too. We took a short break and purchased some alpaca gloves. They were needed because it was very cold at the high 13k foot altitude. Pedro took very good pictures of us with the famous volcano behind us. We got lucky because the weather was mostly clear skies. We then went for horseback riding in the pristine fields. While we were galloping he took good video shots of us. Which was cool to have. Not just moseying along. We then took the south entrance on the return. We finally had lunch at a nice restaurant and wrapped up. Overall very good tour.
