Picturesque Island with Crystal Clear Waters

5.00What a beautiful island, we visited as a couple via private boat trip. The sand is pure white and powdery, with palm trees and crystal clear waters. The people are friendly and welcoming and there’s plenty on offer from buffet style lunches, to local residents selling trinkets and merchandise to cocktails and coconuts. The sea is picturesque and filled with beautiful wildlife from Starfish to Stingrays, Crabs and Fish. Definitely worth taking a snorkel to explore! The downside is it’s not cheap on the island as expected as everything is imported. So shop around and haggle for the best price. Sadly the island like the Dominican Republic has a litter problem, they feel it’s acceptable to discard their rubbish everywhere, it really spoils the beauty of the picturesque country they live in. But it’s definitely still worth a visit.
