If you only have a short amount of time but you want to see as much of the French Quarter as possible, this is your tour! We will move at a fast pace, but you'll be able to get all those pictures! We will see all the famous sites of the French Quarter in 45 minutes. There is not as much storytelling or history as you get on a typical two-hour tour, but your guide will follow-up with a recap of the tour and a list of recommended ways to enjoy New Orleans even more.

Jackson Square
Start your whirlwind tour in the heart of the city, Jackson Square. From here you can see St. Louis Cathedral, two Louisiana State Museums, the iconic Pontalba Apartments, and the statue of Andrew Jackson (of course). Your guide will give you a brief history of New Orleans, then it's off you go!
Chartres Street
Continue up Chartres Street for some examples of iconic New Orleans architecture and great shops and restaurants, including a home that was prepared as a refuge for Napoleon (spoiler: he stood us up), a museum dedicated the stranger aspects of 19th Century pharmaceutical profession(leeches!) and the Louisiana State Supreme Courthouse.

5.00My small group was so excited to book a short tour of New Orleans for that very morning! We met Libby in Jackson Square. She was very conscientious about texting us about parking situations and when and where to find her. Her first question regarded our group’s interest for the tour, whether it be for historical facts, entertainment ideas, or dining suggestions. ( We chose history.) Libby was an absolute delight throughout the entire tour, not only relaying factual events but also pointing out comical elements found throughout the French Quarter. She answered our various historical questions and even offered insight into several eateries, alleys, bars, and shops. Her voice was always loud enough and clear enough for us to hear. The pace was a comfortable constant. Even when there were unexpected detours, she was quick to guide us in different directions and still explain points of interest. I would happily take another tour guided by Libby. It was the perfect tour to begin our stay in New Orleans!

5.00James did a nice job as our tour guide. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable about New Orleans and the Garden District. James made sure to cover the topics we were most interested in. Early December is cool but not cold weather in New Orleans so it’s easy to do a walking tour. We recommend this 45 minute tour if you’re pressed for time or if it’s a hot time of year when you want to minimize sun and heat exposure — however, you could consider taking a 2 hour walking tour if you want a lot of details about home architecture and Garden District history.

5.00Our tour guide was Loretta and she did not disappoint with her enthusiasm and knowledge of the history of Nola This was a quick but very informative tour that gave you lots of history about the French quarter definitely recommend going on this tour when you first arrive to Nola to get a feel for the city! Five star!

5.00This was a great tour and a great intro to New Orleans history and beauty! Loretta was a fun and friendly tour guide that made it feel like we were hanging out with friends. We did the short tour of the French quarter. She tailored it to be appropriate for our kids too. Five stars!
