Begin your experience inside a true Brazilian home kitchen where authentic flavors, stories, and hands-on cooking come together.

Meet your instructor and a small group to begin your Brazilian culinary adventure. No experience is necessary, and you're bound to learn something new about Brazilian cooking and culture, whether you're a novice or an expert chef.

Your group will create several traditional Brazilian dishes such as moqueca and farofa, plus several appetizers and the classic caipirinha.

Listen as your instructor guides you through the process of making the dishes, taking notes if you like. Most of the ingredients used in these dishes can be found all over the world, so you'll be able to recreate them at home.

Once everything’s ready, gather around the table to enjoy the full meal you created, share stories with your host, and toast with a homemade caipirinha.

You leave not just with recipes, but with skills, moments, and connections most travelers never experience.

Unbelievable time with Alessandro! Easily exceeded our expectations. He was so kind and fun. Because we don’t speak Portuguese it was so helpful that he is fluent in English, and we understand he is fluent in Spanish, too. He welcomed us into his home, taught us numerous things we will apply in the kitchen, and was just generally great to spend a day with, as was NJ his sweet dog. Highly recommend for couples or groups!

Our private cooking class with Alessandro was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived at his lovely home, he made us feel completely welcome and at ease. Alessandro is not only an incredible chef but also one of the kindest and most engaging hosts we’ve ever met. He guided us through preparing traditional Brazilian dishes with such passion and clear explanations that everything felt approachable, fun, and hands-on. The food itself was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. We loved learning about the cultural stories behind each recipe while enjoying great conversation and laughter along the way. It was one of those experiences that feels both educational and deeply personal. If you’re visiting Brazil (or even if you live here!), we can’t recommend Alessandro’s private cooking class enough.
