4.00My guide Oscar was fantastic, as was our driver Alex. They took me all over Acapulco, explaining what we were seeing, talked to me about both the ancient and recent history, and were very eager to answer questions. My only criticism of the tour is that it does not include lunch, despite the Viator description saying “includes lunch.” If I had known ahead of time, I could have brought a snack.

5.00Baldo was a fabulous tour guide in Acapulco. We spent the morning and afternoon learning about the history of this once glitz and glamour city, seeing the Acapulco Beverly Hills where JFK and Liz Taylor, John Wayne… frequently visited and then witnessed the infamous cliff divers from a premier table overlooking the cliffs while we ate lunch. There were 7 of us all different levels of ability and he accommodated us all. Cold waters upon arrival. A generous soul. His van was comfortable. His English was perfect and we loved learning and getting the lay of the land. Tourism has really taken a hit since the hurricane a few years ago. We felt very safe overall. 3.00Tour was good. We were supposed to have a mini van and the guide showed up with a small Corolla type sedan for 4 people. A bit tight to say the least

5.00This tour was perfect. Jesus met us at the cruise port and the four of us piled into the minivan to start our tour. Alex was our driver and took pictures during the tour. We received a video of our trip, by email, to remember all the sights we visited. We visited the Chapel of Peace, scenic overlook of the city, and the cliff divers. We took the suggestion to get a table at the restaurant that overlooks the cliff and enjoyed the divers while seated in the shade with drinks in hand. Traffic was heavy, but in our vehicle, we were able to take back roads everywhere. Skip the cruise boat excursion with 60 of your closest friends and long waits--this private tour is worth it! Yes, the hurricane damage is still apparent, but did not detract from our experience. Thanks to Jesus and Alex for a great tour.

5.00Couldn’t go see the cliff divers because of an unfortunate protest on the streets. Even though we were able to change to events of the day quickly.Saw an amazing rescue for alligators while being able to actually hold them!! Then release turtles into the ocean. The day could have been a bust because of the protest but the tour guide saved the day.
Baldo is an excellent, knowledgeable and super-duper tour guide

5.00We hired Baldo Gomez to show us the city of Acapulco. Whatever we wanted to do, Baldo made it happen! We felt safe, saw the entire city, the new and the old. Capilla de la Paz on a hillside, 1,200 feet above sea level, was beautiful and had a grand view of the Bay of Acapulco. He then secured the best table at La Perla restaurant where we ate (delicious food) and watched the magnificent Cliff Divers. Our price was reasonable, and compared to the shore excursion offered by our cruise ship, less expensive, more flexible and better accomodations to view the cliff diving. We recommend Baldo for any tour big or small, shore excursion or week visit. He will take care of you and keep you entertained and safe. Baldo Gomez, email: [email protected]. 5.00This tour is a must see when you visit Acapulco. Our kids range in age from teenager to early twenties, 1 boy and 2 girls. It’s tough to keep them all interested in the same things but this tour does that. Rudy and Alfonso are the BEST team. Our tour was in a clean,spacious, air conditioned 12 passenger van. They were prompt in picking us up from our resort and immediately began sharing their knowledge and insights about Acapulco as we were driving off the grounds. We learned so much about the history of Acapulco and loved hearing about the Mexican history that we don’t learn about in America. One thing we loved was seeing the authentic Acapulco, not just the tourist areas. The views are truly breath taking. The market was filled with so much it was hard to take it all in. They drove through the market and even let us purchase fruit and snacks from inside the van. They were so accommodating when we expressed what we wanted to see or do. Although we did not think we wanted to see the cliff divers, I’m so glad that we did. It was amazing and we even got to experience some Junior cliff divers. The 4 hours goes by so fast as Rudy and Alfonso keep a good pace to make sure you see everything, but we never felt rushed. I honestly don’t know what we liked the most. It was a great way to start our visit to Acapulco.
