Great overview of Taiwan's cultural, historical and natural highlights. Loved the 5 star hotels but the single room supplement was higher than it should be. It's the nature of the trip, but it was frustrating to arrive in a big city like Kaohsiung early evening and leave first thing the next morning without seeing any of its attractions. I would add time there and remove the whisky experience on day 5. Also would be good to arrive back in Taipei on day 5 a little earlier in the day.

This 5 day trip exceeded my expectations! I saw more than I would have if I had chosen to do this on my own. Additionally, the tour guide, Alan, was incredible with a fantastic sense of humor, immense knowledge, and great timing. I typically plan everything on my own but if I had a tour like this again, I would JUMP on it.

We have used Viator for tours etc. in England, Ireland, Argentina, Holland, Spain, France, Italy and now Taiwan, and we have never had anything but fantastic experiences. For this trip to Taiwan we booked this 5 day tour. It was excellent. Alan, our tour guide did a great job, basically a walking encyclopedia of Taiwan. The hotels truly were 5-star, the food was incredible and the locations we visited were so beautiful. If you are considering visiting Taiwan, DO IT. You won't be sorry and book this tour for the best overall tour of the country. We loved Taiwan!

It's quite busy but there are stops every 1.5hrs. We found it a great way to see the island and learn about the history and culture. Great 5star accommodation Would recommend this tour especially with Allan Chou as tour guide.
