Embark on a 5-day excursion to uncover the breathtaking landscape and spectacular wildlife that fills the lost paradise of Santa Cruz and Isabela islands. Set off on an adventure that includes hiking, boating, and snorkeling, and a visit to the ocean oasis of Los Tuneles.

NOTE: Please, make sure you book an early flight of arrival to Baltra Airport on Day 1 (before 11 am) in order to follow the order of the displayed itinerary.
However, if you must book a late flight (later that 11:30 am), please let us know as soon as possible (preferably at the time of reservation of the tour). We will need to modify the order of the activities in the itinerary.
In either case, make sure you also pick a late flight for your return on the last day of the tour (departing later than 12:30 pm)
Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
Please take into account that air tickets must be purchased arriving and departing to/from Baltra Airport - Galapagos.
Itinerary subject to change due to Galapagos National Park dispositions or to circumstances beyond our control, no refunds will be applicable in these cases
Note: The tour is not private. Accommodations are private, but the guided activities will be shared with other travelers.
IMPORTANT REMARKS:
Hotel Selection:
The hotel selection depends on the category of hotel that you choose (Tour Options). Once you choose the hotel class of preference, we will specify to you which hotels (belonging to the class chosen) are available for the dates of your trip. Hotels are categorized in the following classes: Economic Class, Tourist Class, Tourist Superior Class and First Class. All the hotels have been carefully chosen by us after close inspection.
Restaurants
This also depends on the chosen hotel class, as not all hotels have restaurant services. Meals are served in the “meal of the day” style; however, if you choose First Class hotels you will have more variety and gourmet-style meals. By patronizing local restaurants we contribute to the local economy and support sustainable tourism.
Guides
Guides will accompany you throughout all excursions and visits. They will not go with you on the speedboats between islands either. Guides are certified by the Galapagos National Park - if you feel that their guidance does not meet your expectations, feel free to leave a complaint at the National Park Direction to help improve the quality of service in the islands.
Public Speedboats
It is recommended that you take a seasickness pill if you are sensitive to sea-sickness before each ride between islands. It is also recommended that you carry on small plastic bags in case of seasickness.

Santa Cruz Island
You can arrive to the Galapagos Islands only by flight from either Quito or Guayaquil (air ticket not included). Our English‐speaking guide will be waiting for you at the Baltra Airport in Galapagos. He will then lead you to the port of Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) for lunch. Afterwards, we will take a short rest before making our way to the Highlands of Santa Cruz. Here you will have the unforgettable opportunity to observe the famous Galapagos Giant Tortoises in their natural environment. The Islands themselves were named after these species. You will also be able to see the famous Galapagos Finches, Bird Wizards, as well as endemic vegetation such as Escelacias forests and Matazarnos. After this incredible encounter with the Giant Tortoises, we will return to Puerto Ayora. Dinner will be served local‐style menu in the specified restaurant.

Santa Cruz Island
The guide will have specified the hour to meet to begin the visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station. After breakfast we will head to this spot. The Station is populated by a variety of Giant Tortoise representing their fellow specie, one of each island in the archipelago. Here you can also listen about the ongoing conservation efforts directed at preserving the Giant Tortoises, as well as the environment of the archipelago as a whole. After this we will make a short visit to the Art Galleries of Puerto Ayora and then eat lunch. Return to the hotel to rest before heading for lunch at a local specified restaurant. After lunch we will begin the journey from Puerto Ayora to Isabela Island at 2:00pm (subject to change) via public speedboat (approx. travel time 2 ½ to 3 hrs.) A guide will be waiting for you in Puerto Villamil and then lead you to check in at the hotel. After a brief rest we will take a short walk to visit the Flamingo Lagoon, one of the natural breeding sites of the Galapagos flamingos. Return to the hotel to rest and eat dinner at the local specified restaurant.

Isabela Island
Your third day is entirely dedicated to Los Tuneles, an ocean paradise of volcanic rock formations off the coast of Isabela. Strap on snorkeling gear to discover friendly sea lions, colorful fish, and yellow stingrays.

Isabela Island
Make sure your camera is stored in waterproof bags, wear some sunscreen, bring water, and a hat! Yourself will prepare a box lunch at the hotel with the foodstuff of your choice. We will then travel approximately 45 minutes by truck or bus to begin the 16 km hike (appx. 4 hours). The hike is long in terms of distance, but not very difficult as the inclines and declines are quite gradual.

On the final day we recommend waking up at 5:00 am to have enough time to get ready for the transfer‐out from Isabela to Puerto Ayora. We will take the public speedboat, which leaves from the dock at 6:00 am (subject to change), and arrive in Puerto Ayora (approx. 2 ½ hrs. depending on the tide). We will eat breakfast there, and then depart for Baltra where you will catch your return flight to either Quito or Guayaquil.

5.00Amazing to see the collection of fauna in these islands: manta rays, penguin (at the equator), tortoises, turtles, blue footed boobies, frigates, iguana and sea lion. And learning how they live. Excellent.

5.00THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE I'VE EVER GONE! With the best Tour agency. We did everything through WhatsApp with the help of Bethlehem. That was excellent, our tours and stays planned in advance and always kept us up to date. Super good tour, excellent guides, and overall it was a wonderful experience that we want to repeat at some point. The name they give them of Enchanted Islands is real. But you have to be there to feel it and live it. If I could give more stars I'd give them. Thank you Nature Galapagos & Ecuador. Thank you so much for the Super Bethlehem!

5.00I was a solo female traveller from the UK to the Galapagos Islands for six days in Nov 2023. Contacting Christian Nieves at Nature Galapagos (on the strength of reviews on this site) for his help organising my itinerary was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Christian responded to my emails professionally and promptly, took time to understand my budget, and built an itinerary around the flights which I had already booked which fitted in far more than I had expected to see and do in the time available. He arranged my accomodation (tourist class at my request which was spotless and much better than I had expected) and my breakfast and lunch most days. His guides met me at the airport, took me to my accomodations, picked me up every day exactly when he said they would for my tours. They put me on ferries, helped with my luggage, met me at the other side, organised taxis and got me back to the airport at the end of my stay. I spent three days on Santa Cruz and three on Isabela with different guided tours every day. I visited the tortoise ranch, explored lava tunnels, saw the twin craters, visited the Charles Darwin centre, snorkelled with sealions, rays, sharks, turtles and iguanas at Santa Fe island and Los Tuneles. I hiked up to Sierra Negra and on to Volcano Chico where the views were stunning. Christian even built in some free time for me to relax and explore the local towns and beaches. I am so grateful to him for his knowledge and expertise and for making my trip the very best experience. I highly recommend him. Thanks Christian!

5.00We were extremely hesitant on taking this trip due to all the Covid restrictions going on in the world. Thankfully we contacted Nature Galápagos and Christian assisted us with our every need. He created an itinerary that met our needs and budget. He was also quick to answer any questions we had prior to our trip. Our transfers from airport to islands went without a hitch. Our morning boat transfer from Santa Cruz to Isabella was extremely bumpy and a bit scary at times but there’s nothing you can do about how Mother Nature will respond that day. Given Covid and the lack of tourism our guided tours felt more like personal tours due to the lack of other people on them. All the tour guides we encountered were very knowledgeable. We saw so much and experienced such a wonderful time. We highly recommend Nature Galápagos for all your needs.

5.00Just wrapped up four nights in Isabella and a night in Santa Cruz. The whole trip was arranged by Andres with Nature Galapagos who made the whole process extremely simple and straight forward. The entire itinerary was amazing and the experiences were unforgettable. The pricing was competitive and payments simple. The main thing I recommend to anyone reading this is, when on Isabella, 100% upgrade to the Tunneles tour, it is the best tour we have ever been on. Everything from the daily guided trips to meals every step of the way went off without a hitch. This could not have been easier. Ricardo on Isabella was an amazing host and the many guides we had on the way like Omar in Isabella and Caesar in Santa Cruz were amazing. I would 100% book with Nature Galapagos again
