I had the chance to live an unforgettable experience with the desert bird during a trek of several days in the Moroccan desert. Every day we walked between 13 and 17 km through breathtaking landscapes, carried by the kindness and expertise of an incredible team. A huge thank you to Omar, the cook, for his delicious and comforting dishes; to Ali, whose knowledge and rich explanations gave cultural depth to each step; to Bakar, always smiling, a real dose of good humor on a daily basis; and to Rachid, discreet but essential. It was a human, spiritual and sensory adventure. A total disconnection, a return to basics, in simplicity and respect. They are great, deeply human, and they have so much to teach us. Don't change anything, stay the way you are. I recommend closed eyes to all those looking for a real immersion in the desert, guided by authentic nomads.

An unforgettable experience in the heart of the desert, accompanied by nomads of incredible kindness and generosity. Their knowledge of the desert and their hospitality are unmatched. A real return to basics, full of authenticity and beauty. I recommend this adventure to anyone looking to reconnect with nature and experience something deeply human. There is a Before and an After the desert! I have just experienced an extraordinary adventure in which I was finally able to understand what total disconnection was, letting go, returning to basics. There is the desert and its captivating landscapes but above all there is the kindness, the sharing, the kindness, the professionalism of Hassan and his entire team at L’Oiseau du Désert. When we feel safe, we can let go of everything! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all these moments, these exchanges, these discoveries!! I will come back, for sure! Inshallah.

Thanks to the whole team for this “desert crossing”. Professionalism, excellence in EVERYTHING. A big thank you for this immersion in the great outdoors, in the culinary discovery, in the traditions. Each baking of bread will remain a sacred moment for me, around the fire, in awareness of this leaven which is transformed before our eyes under a captivating celestial vault. Respect to the entire team who delighted us from morning to evening, a caring, loving, reassuring and comforting presence. Thank you to the desert for allowing us this disconnection for a better connection to ourselves. Thank you to everyone who accompanied me in the visible and the invisible. Participating in a trek in the M'Hamid desert with "L'Oiseau du Désert" was an unforgettable experience, marked by a perfect mix of adventure, tranquility and cultural discovery. From the first contact, the organization was exemplary, ensuring optimal safety throughout the trip. This feeling of confidence allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the adventure, without any worries. The camp, remarkably efficient, offered the choice between the comfort of tents and total immersion under the stars. Every evening, we were lulled by the magic of the desert, an idyllic setting for meditation and introspection. The moments of sharing with the group and the Tuareg guides enriched our experience, adding a deep human dimension to our adventure. The food, simply exceptional, was a real revelation. Each meal was a discovery, reflecting the authenticity and richness of local cuisine. The respect towards the camels, faithful companions of our journey, testified to the commitment of “The Desert Bird” to nature and animals, strengthening our connection with the environment. Traditional evening entertainment immersed us in the Tuareg soul, offering a unique insight into their rich culture. 5 days of trekking through the desert... exploring a completely new world... a world that is so beautiful that you can't put it into words... you have to experience it yourself... No smartphone, no laptop and no power outlet anywhere... but instead endless time to think, talk and be amazed... to spend time with your fellow travelers... to look for firewood... to make music around the campfire... or to listen to the stories of the nomads...
