Our aim with this tour is an opportunity to see many things as possible in a short amount of time, showing how beautiful the northwest side of our lovely island is.

The road from São Vicente to Seixal are lined with waterfalls, creating beautiful and natural views of water flowing down rocks and cliffs. Moreover, we have valleys, rock formations, black sandy beach, rock pools, making this tour an excellent choice.

It will take about 45 minutes to reach Ribeira Brava and it will be done in a non-stop connection Beautiful valley on the southwestern coast of the islan. Its main economic activity is agriculture; from the cultivation of land comes sweet potatoes, beans, vegetables, some cereal, fruit and wine.

5.00Wow what an amazing experience this trip was. From the moment we arrived, Edgar greeting us with a warm welcome, making us feel happy and safe. His knowledge of the Island is incredible and he constantly gave facts of the island during the whole trip. He customised the trip to suit our family and ensured it kept the kids entertained whilst keeping the adults hooked at the same time. We kept away from the crowds and Edgar knew the best time to hit all the hotspots. Booking this private trip was the best money i've spent in such a long time and I would highly recommend booking this trip if you want an amazing VIP tour of Madeira.

5.00Very personalized experience that you can cater to your needs and wants. Andre was extremely friendly, funny and accommodating to our group. My son wanted to experience off roading and I was surprised by his willingness to show my son that experience in Madeira. You will not be disappointed by your time on Madeira or on this particular tour experience.

Our guide Edgar took us to all the must see tourist spots as well as several other remote locations that made our trip extra special that others may never get the chance to see! His knowledge of the sites, history, culture and getting us around to the different sites was great! The Toyota Land Cruiser made the trip extra comfortable. The overall tour was a very good value! We highly recommend Edgar and the Always 4x4 tour company through Trip Advisor and Viator to anyone traveling to Madeira!!! Enjoy the experience!

5.00We are a family of four (two teen boys) and this is our first visit to Madeira. We’re staying in Funchal, but wanted to see some of the rest of this beautiful island. We went on this tour yesterday and we had a fantastic day. Edgar was very knowlegeable and personable. He has a great love for his home country, which he gladly shared with us, answering any questions we had. We had a number of scenic stops along the way, including beautiful waterfalls, stunning views from the mountains and the rock pools at Porto Moniz. We didn’t feel rushed at any point of the day, the vehicle coped well with the steep mountain roads, and the “beautiful weather” button ion the dashboard worked perfectly, too :) Edgar has also sent us a map of the route we took. We’d highly recommend this tour. Thanks Edgar!

5.00Amazing day out would definitely recommend. Our host Edgar was fantastic… warm, friendly and very knowledgable about his beautiful home island. This was our favourite day of our holiday because we got to see so many amazing things and also learned about the history and culture of the island. Edgar tailored the experience to suit our needs, stopping for as long as we wanted at each place. Rock pool with ripping waves, waterfalls from the rock face, mountain hike with amazing views, 300 year old trees, agricultural valleys with scarily steep road declines (optional - I requested this!). If you want to see true Madeira with an excellent host with local knowledge this is a trip worth booking. We will definitely be booking Edgar to show us the east side of the island on our next visit.

5.00Edgar took great care of our family to hit all the highlights of the Northwest Coast of Madeira. We saw some great waterfalls, visited the black beach, swam in the pools of Porto Muniz while seeing ancient trees along the way. I can highly recommend the experience!
