Cusco Cathedral
The Cathedral of Cusco, in Peru, is an impressive example of colonial architecture. Built on the Inca palace of Viracocha, it combines Renaissance, Baroque and Plateresque elements. Its three naves house a rich collection of religious art, highlighting paintings from the Cusco School and altars decorated with gold leaf. This majestic cathedral is an emblem of the cultural fusion between Inca art and Spanish influence.
Qorikancha
Qoricancha, in Cusco, was the most important temple of the Inca Empire, dedicated to the cult of the Sun. Known as the "Temple of the Sun", it exhibited walls covered in gold sheets and housed Inca relics. After the Spanish conquest, the Order of Santo Domingo built the Church of Santo Domingo on its foundations, fusing Inca architecture with colonial elements. Qoricancha is a fascinating testimony to the fusion of Inca and Spanish cultures.
Sacsayhuaman
Saqsayhuaman, near Cusco, is an impressive Inca archaeological complex known for its enormous megalithic stone walls. These massive stone structures, some weighing up to 300 tons, fit together perfectly without the use of mortar. It is believed that it was an important ceremonial and military center. Its zigzag design and strategic location offer panoramic views of Cusco, showing the architectural mastery of the Inca civilization.
Complejo Arqueologico Q'uenqo
Quenqo, on the outskirts of Cusco, is an Inca archaeological complex notable for its semicircular amphitheater carved into the rock and its ceremonial canals. Used for ritual and ceremonial purposes, this site features engravings on the stones that suggest the performance of sacrifices. Its architectural design and labyrinth of passageways show the skill of Inca engineering, being a place of great cultural and religious importance.
Puka Pukara
Puka Pukara, in Cusco, is an Inca archaeological site recognized for its reddish stone walls and its strategic location. It is thought that it could have been a tambo or military and administrative control post, evidenced by its terraces, plazas and defensive structures. Its name, which means "red fortress" in Quechua, refers to the reddish tones of the rocks at sunset, offering a fascinating insight into Inca architecture and military planning.
Tambomachay
Tambomachay, located near Cusco, is an Inca archaeological site recognized for its ceremonial fountains and elaborate hydraulic systems. Known as "The Bath of the Inca", this place was possibly destined for purification rituals and worship of water. Its canals and waterfalls show sophisticated hydraulic engineering, evidencing the cultural and religious importance given to water in the Inca civilization.

Today we venture into the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas taking a tour in our private vehicle enjoying beautiful views and unique landscapes until we reach our first point Pisac with an approximate journey of 1 hour.
Parque Arqueologico Pisac
Pisac, in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, is an impressive Inca archaeological complex famous for its agricultural terraces and monumental architecture. Known for its artisan market, its ruins display temples, astronomical observatories and ceremonial enclosures. The amphitheater-shaped terraces demonstrate Inca agricultural mastery, while the combination of landscape and architecture make it an exceptional cultural and archaeological site.
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo
Ollantaytambo, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is an impressive archaeological complex and one of the few places where you can appreciate the original Inca urban planning. Noted for its agricultural terraces, water canals and temples, it was both a fortress and a religious center. The enormous stones perfectly assembled in their constructions show the Inca architectural skill. This site is an exceptional testimony of the engineering and urban design of that era. Finishing our visit we will now head towards Aguas Calientes by train.

The Machu Picchu tour begins with an exciting bus ride from Aguas Calientes to the sanctuary entrance, which generally takes around 30 minutes. Once at Machu Picchu, the guided tour usually lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours, where our expert guide shares information about the history and architecture of this iconic archaeological site. After the tour, visitors have free time to explore on their own. The return to Aguas Calientes is done by bus, with a travel time similar to that of the climb, around 30 minutes. This itinerary allows visitors to fully enjoy the experience at Machu Picchu. At the end of our tour you will have free time to learn more about the city of Machu Picchu or enjoy the thermal baths.

After having breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, we will take the train to return to Ollantaytambo, after which we will have lunch in the Sacred Valley and then begin our tour.

Moray
Moray, in Cusco, is an Inca archaeological site notable for its circular terraces that descend in levels. It is believed that it was used as an agricultural laboratory to experiment with different crops, taking advantage of climatic variations at each level. The unique arrangement of the terraces and their scientific function make it an intriguing and distinctive place in the Sacred Valley.

5.00First of all, I just want to give the biggest thank you to Aidette for taking care of my entire trip and making my Peru experience so incredible. From the very beginning, she was so organized and attentive. She handled everything my full itinerary, airport and hotel transfers, daily tours, and even made adjustments when needed. She constantly kept me updated and gave me options to choose from, always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and happy with everything. What really stood out to me was how present and supportive she was the entire time. Whether it was a quick question or a last-minute concern, Aidette was always just a message away so kind, so patient, and so genuine. After each tour or excursion, she would check in just to make sure I got back to the hotel safe and sound. That kind of care and attention really made me feel taken care of and allowed me to enjoy my trip without any stress. I honestly didn’t expect to fall in love with Peru the way I did but because everything went so smoothly and was so thoughtfully planned, I was able to fully enjoy every single moment. 5.00We loved the trip, and the intinerary was super complete, also super punctual, the guides of each tour were amazing and very patient with us, the drivers were very friendly, Raul met us at the airport and gave us the travel instructions and everything was very organized, Peru is amazing and we will come back🫶🏻 the experience we had as a family was 10/10 and the agency was the best, I recommend it full, thanks to them we had the best holidays🫶🏻🦙
