• Great Trip to Krakow

  It was super easy to work with this agency. There were 4 adults traveling, my husband and I, who live in New York, and our 2 adult children, who live in California. This was a planned “roots” trip to see the area that my father’s family immigrated from. Our trip centered in Krakow, which is a lovely, charming and very accessible city. We had a driver who spoke excellent English and was terrific at his job. Our tour was well organized and very busy! Every day was special and very interesting. Every evening we had time to check out Krakow’s busy piazza, full of shops and restaurants, so nice and very reasonably priced. On our own we spent an evening at a local mall (felt very much like home, great people watching) and went to a great Polish restaurant nearby. Traveling from place to place was simple because we could call Uber, just like at home.Our hotel was 4 star, (Home Hotel) and was centrally located. The service and delicious breakfast every morning was greatly appreciated. On our final day we traveled to Sanok, the town my ancestors came from. We had a charming guide there, very knowledgeable, who took us to the local church where we were able to find records of my grandparents’ marriage and two of my relatives’ births. The priest (Father Roman) was so nice and generous with his time. It was a very rewarding experience, really unforgettable for my children, too. My husband and I have travelled all over the world, and we believe that this trip to Poland was one of the best ever. I am very grateful to the GFP agency and Tomasz Dobrowolski for the ease of organizing this very special event.   Our drivers were helpful, cheerful and safe. They happily accepted our loud singing and cheering. This is the second time we have used GFP and would happily use them again.

• GFP 6 Day Poland Tour

  Our 6 day Poland tour with GFP Travel was excellent. Our driver/tour guide Rafal provided excellent service throughout our tour - he was responsive to our needs and also provided great insights and info on the sites we were touring during our trip. I would highly recommend him if you’re planning a visit to Poland. Our hotel in Krakow was not great so we ended up moving to the Radisson on our own dime, but otherwise the trip was excellent and informative.

  Great tour company: Tomasz was very prompt and efficient with details and communication. Rafal was a competent and knowledgeable driver and guide. He was passionate about his country and wanted to share it with his clients. He went above and beyond to make our trip special. I think we all parted not only as satisfied customers, but as friends. All local guides were also friendly, spoke English fluently, were well versed and knowledgeable in their area of expertise.

  I highly recommend GFP Travel for your trip to Poland! My husband has a degree in Holocaust studies, and he realized he really needed to visit the Auschwitz concentration camp. We decided to book GFP Travel's tour, “Tracing WWIl History in Poland." It was amazing! All of our guides and drivers were native Poles who spoke excellent English and knew so much about WWll history, and it was also interesting to talk with them about how Poland is today. Auschwitz was so intense and so heartbreaking, but I'm glad we visited, because you can't even begin to imagine to scale of the horrors until you visit it for yourself. Our guide in Warsaw, Jacek, drove us all around Warsaw, was so nice and taught us so much, and our guides/ drivers in Krakow — Lukas, Robert, etc. — were so great, too. They were all well-informed and very helpful, and so was Tomasz in the GFP office. Lukas even took us to a wondertul roadside sausage restaurant between Auschwitz and Krakow that we never would have known about on our own. Thank you so much for an amazing journey, GFP Travel!

  My group of 5 persons had a FANTASTIC time in Poland. Our guide for the week was Marchin and he went above and beyond to show us where our grandparents came from, including the local church and cemetery. The trip was modified to include this visit. How special for us. The Warsaw hotel was excellent in all aspects, The Krakow hotel was a tad dated, but the location was superb. The food, Oh my, how delicious. Marchin took us to small local places and we feasted! I can't wait to explore more of this fascinating country, and would definitely re-book another trip with GFP travel. Poland is an undiscovered GEM, with friendly people and great value.

  I can't recommend this company and our guide, Sebastian, enough. My family (6 people) did a tour throughout Poland for 6 days and saw so much thanks to GFP. They really do a great job at making the days easy for you and planning everything in advance so you don't even need to think about where to go or what to see next. All the private tours were fantastic and trust me when I say having a professional driver when you're tired and in need of a nap is wellll worth it. I don't know how else we could've made it from city to city on days when we started early. I was blown away at the beauty and history of Poland and this trip was extra special for my family because we were going back to my mom's hometown for this first time in 50 years. Sebastian put so much thought and effort into making our experience great and basically became a member of our family. He always went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of, well fed, and ready for whatever was next! I never expected to be this impressed by all that Poland has to offer and can't imagine doing this trip without the help of GFP!

  I am a former travel consultant who booked 4 clients for a private tour. I have to say this was one of the best, if not the best experience I've ever had dealing with a tour operator. Tomasz was great to deal with. Answered all my emails immediately and made changes as requested along the way. The trip had to be cancelled twice due to covid and Tomasz couldn't have been more accommodating with all the changes. Upon return from their tour my clients couldn't say enough about how wonderful the tour was. Everything from the tour director/driver, hotels, meals, and sightseeing were top notch. Thanks again to Tomasz and his staff for an unforgettable experience!!

  Tomasz did a great job of scheduling all of the tours. The hotel was near the center square and was a short walk to all of the sites. His tour guides were professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend GFP travel.
