Your journey continues through Mbarara, where a delicious local lunch revitalizes you for the next leg of the trip. The landscape changes again as you approach the great savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The anticipation builds with each passing kilometer. After a hearty breakfast, you embark on a 6:30 am game drive, venturing deep into the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park's diverse ecosystem unravels before your eyes, from grassy plains teeming with antelope to dense tropical forests echoing with the calls of unseen creatures. Every turn of the track reveals new wonders – lions lounging in the shade, elephants trumpeting in the distance, and buffaloes grazing in the early morning light. Kazinga Channel
After lunch, the adventure continues on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that links Lake George to Lake Edward. We drive to this channel to see Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife as you spot hippos wallowing in the shallows, their massive bodies barely visible beneath the water’s surface. Elephants and buffaloes line the shores, quenching their thirst under the watchful eye of crocodiles lurking nearby.
