The Kigali Genocide Memorial commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide. The remains of over 250,000 people are interred there. There is a visitor center for students and others wishing to understand the events leading up to the genocide that occurred in Rwanda in 1994.

5.00I couldn’t recommend Silverbird Tours more- the guides were friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The wildlife, scenery and offerings in Rwanda were amazing- from the spectacular gorillas, to chimpanzees and a plethora of monkeys in stunning tropical forests. The accommodations, itinerary and care organized by Silverbird Tours was a 10/10!!

5.00I can vouch for Silverbird Tour Agency’s ability to provide you with a once in a lifetime experience. They are trustworthy and will do everything they can to make your trip amazing. I decided on a private tour so that I could experience a safari in Akagera, Gorrilas in Volcanoes national park, chimpanzees in Nyungwe and loads more activities in between. Justin was my guide and driver, taking me all over the country - never a dull moment! I felt completely safe during my entire trip even as a solo woman. Countless animals on safari, just feet away from wild gorillas relaxing in their natural habitat and listening to chimpanzees are memories I’ll cherish forever. I did so many other amazing activities in between the big treks. Highly recommend the bee keeping experience near Nyungwe. Don’t hesitate to book with Silverbird, they are legit!
