After breakfast drive towards Gulmarg . Gulmarg is (8700 ft i.e. 2652 meters,the resort was named Gulmarg "meadow of fIowers"by Sultan Yusuf Shah of the Chak Dynasty who frequented visit the place with his queen Habba Khatoon in the 16th century. Gondola (Cable Car): Gulmarg Gondola is one of the highest in the world reaching 3,979 metres. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Gulmarg to a shoulder of nearby Mt. Apharwat Summit (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). The first stage transfers from Gulmarg at 2,600 m (8,530 ft) to Kongdoori at 3,080 m. The second stage which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes passengers to a height of 3,950 m (12,959 ft) on the Apharwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). A chair lift system connects Kongdoori with Mary's shoulder for taking skiers to higher altitude.
Gulmarg
Gulmarg "meadow of fIowers"by Sultan Yusuf Shah of the Chak Dynasty who frequented visit the place with his queen Habba Khatoon in the 16th century. Wild flowers of 21 different varieties were collected by the Mughal emperor Jahangir for his gardens in Gulmarg.Gulmarg also discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of the India's premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty — It also turns into India's premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola (Cable Car) offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 feet for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. After breakfast at Hotel in drive towards Pahalgam via Awantipora Ruins & Saffron fields. Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker's Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Pahalgam offers breath-taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Lidderwater. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus.
Betab Valley
Visit Betaab Valley: Betaab Valley is 15 km from Pahalgam town and is one of the most beautiful valleys around Pahalgam. The valley is famed as a setting for a popular Bollywood film, Betaab.
Aru Valley
Aru village is around 12 km from Pahalgam. Taxis are available from Pahalgam on shared basis. It is a beautiful village, visited by far lesser tourists and is more peaceful than Pahalgam. Some scenes from the film ‘Jaab Tak Hai Jaan,’ were shot here. The ride from Pahalgam to Aru has some of the most picturesque view points. Pony rides are organised on the gentle slopes at Aru.
Baisaran
Baisaran: Baisaran is a large, grassy meadow with small rolling hills and fantastic views of the mountain peaks that surround it. The wide, mud track that leads up to it from Pahalgam village is beautifully shaded on one side by Deodhar trees, with lovely valley views on the other.

Thajiwas Glacier: It offers many adventurous routes with amazing green water & frozen lakes around and Thajiwas Glacier is a one such major tourist attraction in the region. Located 7 km from Sonamarg, it is an Monsoon (July to September) is not very vigorous but the hilly rugged terrains can become slippery. It is challenging to take up. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months

It was dangerous as we reached the place during heavy floods and landslides but we felt adventurous, aided and happy .

5.00Package was planned in advance to the trip. But nothing went as per the plan since vaishnov devi darshan was combined with kashmir tour. Due to heavy floods and landslides in katra chopper tickets were cancelled and vaishnov devi darshan could not happen . But odyssey helped in completing the remaining part of the package without any hassle . They modified the plan as per our preference and successfully after the kashmir trip we could do the vaishnov devi darshan as we returned back to katra after kashmir trip. Odyssey travels helped in extending the package and paying money in installments. Just little improvement required in choosing the right hotel in hill stations as hot water is required 24/7 in sonmarg but no hot water was available at that time. Once we could not cross the border while reaching to srinagar from katra. So we had to take a train from banihal to srinagar . I booked the tickets in emergency and the driver jahangir helped us in carrying the whole lot of our luggage into the train . Jahangir was polite and helpful while dropping us in srinagar airport too. The border crossing time from srinagr to katra or sonmarg should be provided to the passengers in advance before planning the package.It was not given so many problems occur when border could not be crossed at the right time. Due to amarnath yatra there were so many border crossing restrictions assigned which should be indicated the tourists who areostky unaware to this situation.

5.00We had a great experience with Odyssey travels on our trip to Kashmir. From the time we were planning it was soo seamless and comfortable interaction with the team. Being from down south , I had lot of doubts while travelling to Kashmir but Mushtaq bhai and his team had been with us to make sure we are comfortable and made sure everything was planned to perfection. From the time we landed at Srinagar, we had Aqib Bhai , our driver who was with us all the time. He was more than just a driver. As good as a brother. He took good care of us and made sure we were comfortable at all times . We had a memorable trip and would anytime recommend Mustaq bhai and team for anyone’s trip to Kashmir. 🙂🙂. 5.00I had an amazing 7days 6nights tour with Odyssey tour and travel recently. They were very professional , well organized and helpful . I felt extremely well taken care of, visited amazing places like sonomarg, phelegem, gulmarg and many places I would not have visited without Odyssey's well planned itineraries. A special shout out to my wonderful driver and translator, Jahagir and Sajid whom I truly enjoyed not only as my guides but also humble and caring. Well done boys!! Can't wait to have a nother trip with them.

5.00We had a 5nights 6days trip during the first week of march and were fortunate enough to experience snowfall at sonmarg.. the year round beauty and serenity of kashmir amazes me. All thanx to odyssey travels and Mushtaq bhaiya, the trip went amazing. Every last minute query and requests had been taken care of in minutes. The driver was kind enough to recommend us all the places with good food and desserts. The hotel booked by the agency were at prime locations and had really good food also. Would recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit kashmir ever. And one visit will never be enough..
